Synopsis (Goodreads):
“Not the best of ways to introduce myself to you…A gentleman would have at least greeted you first…
… but I’m no gentleman.”

He’s the Bone Crusher. A man in a mask.

His face is hidden alongside his intentions.

He doesn’t do things for free…or to be nice.

So just how did Nia end up stuck on a ship with him by her side?

She’d wanted adventure, but Ka’Cit Urgmental was SO. MUCH. MORE.

It’s obvious he’s only come to help her get back to the Sanctuary.

That's all.

BUT…when he starts looking at her as if she’s meant to be in his arms, in his bed…his, it soon becomes clear that things aren’t that simple.

That mask he wears? His face isn’t the only thing it hides.

It’s a metal shield veiling more than she could have ever imagined…

Whether what’s underneath will break them apart or pull them together, that is another question.
Thoughts on Ka'Cit's Haven: I have quite enjoyed the human women who have ended up at the sanctuary (regardless of how they came to be there) and Nia's story is no exception. While she might not be as thrilled as Lauren and Cleo with her circumstances (mostly because the other two have acquired significant others after their adventures), she's working on coming to terms with it. And by that, I mean she basically works and works and works to keep herself busy so she doesn't have to think about how she was abducted from earth and all that.

A case of mistaken identity (which turned BAD fast) and Ka'Cit being in the right place at the right time gives Nia an adventure of her own. One involving cargo captains involved in shady business (grr), some sexy times with Ka'Cit, some first-person-shooter variety shenanigans, and Nia finding her groove beside the big, blue guy.

Because sometimes you have to shoot your way out of a dangerous situation to hit your stride.

On Ka'Cit's end, he has a a teeny, tiny bit of baggage he needs to deal with. His differences from others of his kind (and how his society treats those like him) has him CERTAIN someone like Nia could never want to tie herself to someone like him. Fortunately for him, Nia being human means she doesn't give two hoots about that particular thing. Convincing him of that is a little more complicated, but she gets there. Eventually.

Aliens, shoot outs, and steamy kisses. Good stuff all around.
