Synopsis (Goodreads):
You have to be really unlucky to be captured by aliens twice...

Well, here I am.

The Queen of Unlucky.

When I’m taken from Earth, my life takes a sharp turn. The alien ship crashes on a strange planet and before I know it, I’m taken again. These new “owners” are just as bad as the last ones and it doesn’t take me long to realize my chances of survival are dim.

I only have one chance to escape—so I take it.

I’m doing a good job of surviving too. That is…until the aliens send a hunter to track me down.

As soon as I lay eyes on him, I know he’s there to find me.

I can’t run; I can only hide—but I can’t hide forever.

It’s a fight for my freedom…

…but it’s my heart that’s in trouble of falling into the hunter’s trap.
Thoughts on Sohut's Protection: Another human female, another of these big, blue aliens finding love. This time around, we have Cleo. Cleo's pretty awesome. She got away from her captors once and has been living rough (but free!) for the past year. She's wary of trusting anyone (understandable!) and Sohut's arrival into her territory puts her on edge.

WITH GOOD REASON! Because Sohut has been sent to hunt her down and bring her in (not realizing what it is he's been hired to hunt, mind you) and he's one alien who doesn't fail.

Needless to say, once Cleo and Sohut start communicating and working together THINGS HAPPEN. Sexy things, at times. But mostly just survival things. Because, you know, surviving is important. Of course, there are bumps in the road and the couple are put in danger a time or two. Good thing they're both the type to keep fighting and pushing forward even when the odds seem to be firmly against them.

Humans and aliens, man. I like them. I like the things they have to work through in order to end up together. I like how utterly devoted they both are once they find their balance. *thumbs up*
