Synopsis (Goodreads):
Someone is illegally stealing humans from their home world and cloning them.

For months, we’ve been hunting this ring of criminals and the end is in sight. I’m separating from my brothers and taking my ship to track down the bad guys.

One small problem — Helen insists upon joining me on this dangerous mission.

Helen herself is a clone, created to be an object of beauty. She’s not safe if she goes with me, as her kind are coveted all across the universe. But she’s not interested in staying safe. She’s interested in staying at my side…and tempting me to kiss her.

And kef me, is it ever a temptation.

Am I really going to run headlong into danger with the universe’s most beguiling female at my side? Am I going to be able to resist her charms?

(I think we all know the answers to those questions.)
Thoughts on Corsairs: Mathiras: Our boy Mathiras is getting his turn to FINALLY admit his feelings for his special someone and I AM HERE FOR IT. The lovely (and deadly) Helen has been his since she first laid eyes on him, but it took a while for Mathiras to wrap his head around how her joyful delight and innocence in everything they encountered didn't equate to her not knowing her mind or not being ready for a relationship.

My friends, Helen was READY for a relationship. She might not have a lot of life experience, but the lady isn't afraid to announce what she wanted. And she wanted Mathiras. The too serious oldest brother who takes the weight of the world on his shoulders. The man who frets over the what-ifs and has contingencies that have contingencies. She adores the big guy even though he takes a loooooong time to figure out that Helen's it for him.

And while those two are figuring out their relationship (loudly, often, and in explicit detail when Helen gets in sharing mode), they're also on the hunt for the money behind the illegal cloning experiments that have put so many humans on the underground markets. Which means they're heading straight into danger. They're also learning that Helen is more than just a pretty face and hooking up (in a corsairs-way, not a sexy-way) with a few others who are VERY GOOD at causing chaos. Bethiah, I'm looking at you on that one.

A whole lot of danger, more than a few unexpected sides to a pretty clone, some chaos, a whole lot of kissing (and showers!), and both blood and found family that are in it for the long haul. *thumbs up* all around.
