Synopsis (Goodreads):
There are a lot of places I’d rather spend Christmas Eve morning than on a cold, snowy sidewalk outside someone else’s home. I’d kill to be sitting beside a fireplace, drinking cocoa, wearing flannel pajamas and reading a book.

Instead, I’m here, standing in front of my one-night stand’s house, working up the courage to ring the doorbell and tell him I’m pregnant.

I hate that term—one-night stand. It sounds so cheap and sleezy. Tobias Holiday is neither of those things. He’s handsome and caring. Witty and charismatic. And once, a long time ago, he was mine.

Our one-night reunion was only supposed to be a hookup. A fling with an old lover. A parting farewell before I moved to London and put my feelings for him an ocean away. How exactly am I supposed to explain that to Tobias that I’m having a baby? His baby? Maybe I could sing it. He always loved the silly songs I made up in the shower.

Three French hens, two turtle doves.

And a partridge and a pregnancy.
Thoughts on A Partridge and a Pregnancy: It's the final Holiday brother's turn to find love and...it's a bit of a bumpy ride. A surprise pregnancy coupled with a long-term job in London for Eva has Tobias in a mess. To be fair, Tobias expected Eva to give up everything and while his reasoning was sound, part of him didn't want to hear any other argument. Which (as you might imagine) put Eva's back up and had her digging in her heels.

On the other hand, Eva's nomadic lifestyle *was* something she needed to take a long, hard look at. While it suited her when she was unattached and fancy-free, the baby's needs needed to be taken into consideration. Plus, Eva had to work through some long standing issues she had about her mother and her mother's almost parallel lifestyle. While her reasoning why she did what she did was also sound, things change and a person needs to adapt to those changes.

Yeah, so Tobias and Eva had some bumps. Not just of the baby variety, either. They both had to examine their way of thinking and make some concessions. All while getting busy during the holiday season!

A whole lot of family, a lot of complicated emotions, more than a few steamy kisses, and a baby on the way. *thumbs up*
