Synopsis (Goodreads):
It’s the holiday season! A time for friends, family, traditions, ugly sweater parties, and white elephant games. Evelyn is ready. Donning a Rudolph sweater, complete with pom poms and a jingle bell, she’s off to the party.

That was her last memory of the year 2021.

Upon waking, she discovers nearly 2,000 years have passed. Her kidnappers are gone, as is her home, her life, and family. All her plans for the future have been stolen.

Struggling to cope in a new century, she leans on the only person she feels a connection to—an android, who seems just as drawn to her as she is to him. Healing from loss, Evelyn finds solace in the last place she expected to find it.

Will Gaius’s embrace bring warmth to this ANDROID BLUE CHRISTMAS?
Thoughts on Android Blue Christmas: Another pod has been found and another woman who finds herself waking up 2,000 years in the future has to deal with the emotional fallout that comes along with that. Fortunately, Evelyn doesn't have to go it entirely alone. She has Andrea, a fellow abductee who understands all the things she's going through, and Gaius, the android who turns out to be her rock when she needs someone to hold onto.

Not that Evelyn has it easy. Even with a support system, she's struggling. She has to deal with losing everything and everyone she ever knew and she crawls into her own head for a while as she tries to sort things out. Throw in the threat from the androids on Origin and things get even stickier.

As for Gaius, he's curious about Evelyn. When he sees her struggling, he steps in to do what he can to make things easier for her. He's a calm spot when everything feels like it's spinning out of control around her and Evelyn appreciates that. Then her appreciation turns into something more and Gaius isn't AT ALL upset about that.

A little danger, a winter wonderland, and a curious android who finds his place with the woman from the past. *thumbs up*
