Synopsis (Goodreads):
Can a lonely alien warrior find the family he’s always wanted?

When tragedy shatters Claire’s world, she abandons her corporate job and retreats to a remote mountain town. Just when she finally begins to rebuild her life, she is abducted by alien slavers.

Unable to escape the scientist who purchases her, she devotes herself to the young alien twins who are also trapped by his twisted experiments. When a massive green male offers them a way out, she takes it. Although her heart says to trust him, she knows how easy it is to lose everything.

Since leaving his dying planet of Ciresia, Arcosta has led a lonely, nomadic life. Even though he has no hope of a family, he still dreams of a place to call his own. When his current boss proposes a bargain - a simple rescue mission in exchange for a permanent home - he takes the deal.

However, the mission is far from simple, and the moment he encounters a brave, defiant female everything changes. He will give up everything he has in order to keep her - and the orphans in her care - safe.

But with a mad scientist and an angry slaver on his tail, will his sacrifice be enough? And is his new dream - a home with Claire and the children - even further out of reach?
Thoughts on A Home for the Alien Warrior: Another of the seriously sweet (and deeply honorable) Cire males is about to find his special someone and YESSSSS. I REALLY like these particular alien men and their utter devotion to the women who are their other half. Plus PLUS, the way they don't even think twice about taking on orphaned kiddos kinda melts me. It doesn't matter if the children are of their own species or not, once they find a child in need, they step up. *HEART EYES*

This time around, we have Arcosta and Claire. He's a Cire warrior who's giving serious consideration to settling down. Sure, sure, he thinks he's going to be settling alone, but he's ready to give up the nomadic life he's been living once he saves up enough money to buy a little place to ply his trade planetside. She, on the other hand, is an abducted human being experimented on and doing what she can to make the lives of the two children being held in the lab with her a little easier.

A series of rather fortunate events (well, not fortunate for Neera, I guess) has Arcosta finding her (and the kiddos and the young lady he'd been sent to rescue) and liberating her (along with the others) from her captor. As you might guess, the more time Claire spends with Arcosta, the more she likes him. And he's utterly smitten with her.

A creepy doctor dude, a set of adorable twins, a little danger, a frisky tail, and a whole lot of kisses. I'm still enjoying these Cire warriors and their special lady friends something fierce!
