Synopsis (Goodreads):
Carly Preston, a beloved Hollywood star, has lived her life in the spotlight. Most people believe her fifty years on earth has been charmed. She knows better. The tragedy that happened one night over thirty years ago, is never far from her thoughts, though she's learned to let go. But when she receives a message from the past along with a visit from the one person who never wanted to see her again, suddenly it appears that everything that Carly thought about that night is a lie. With the help of Premonition Pointe’s coven, Carly is determined to right a wrong, and maybe find a future she never knew she wanted.
Thoughts on Witching for Kismet: It's Carly's turn to find some closure and a second chance at romance and I AM HERE FOR IT. She also uncovers a kind of nasty...uhh, I'm not sure what to call it. A morally reprehensible entrepreneurial enterprise that really really REALLY needs to be stopped? Yeah, let's go with that.

So. A tragedy thirty years ago shattered Carly's world and sent the man she could have loved running from her. Jeremiah made it very clear what he thought of Carly back then and she's pretty much shocked beyond belief when he shows up on her doorstep asking for help. And the thing he wants help with? Well, let's just say it blows her mind and has her immediately reaching out to the Premonition Pointe coven to see what can be done.

As for Jeremiah, he's sort of desperate when he contacts Carly. He's not thrilled to be doing it, but he's also not willing to walk away when she could help. Spending time with her reminds him of how good they could have been if life and that terrible thing hadn't come between them. As you might have guessed THINGS HAPPEN.

A morally reprehensible plot, a little danger and intrigue, a second chance at romance, and a group of women who have each others' backs. *thumbs up*
