Synopsis (Goodreads):
Iris Hartman thought she’d finally gotten everything she’d ever wanted. She had her dream job of mayor of Premonition Pointe and was married to a handsome, charismatic man who adored her. But after finding out her husband was involved with a local drug dealer, she suddenly found herself single and forced to step down as mayor. Now she’s starting over. But when a curse hits Premonition Pointe and tourism dries up, turning the beach town into a ghost town, Iris will do anything to save the village she loves, even if it means leaning on a new man in her life. With the help of the local coven and a too-good-too-be-true neighbor, Iris’s new beginning means tapping into magic she didn’t know she had and maybe even learning to trust again.
Thoughts on Witching for Moxie: The (former) mayor of Premonition Pointe has a mystery on her hands and she's not willing to step aside when things get dicey. She also has a hunky new neighbor who jumps in to help her figure things out. Plus, her mom's in town. You know, Iris has a lot on her plate. Fortunately, she has some magical ladies she can call on. Ladies who are quick to welcome her with open arms and a place in their circle.

Iris might no longer be mayor, but she loves the town to much to sit idly by when bad things happen. And if her new neighbor wants to help her as she tries to get to the bottom of things, who is she to stop him? And if they happen to share a steamy encounter or two...well, things happen, don't they?

As for Kade, he might be new to town, but he knows a good person when he meets her and Iris cares about those around her. A lot. He's quick to offer his support and he's not about to turn tail and abandon her when things turn a little dangerous. (Also, he has a sweetly adorable dog who Iris is just gaga over.)

A little magic, a vendetta that some people won't drop, a magical sisterhood, and a couple who fit well together despite just meeting. *thumbs up*
