Year after year, they met up during their annual friend Christmas gathering and they were never quite at the point where they were ready for one another. Between current girlfriends and heartache and just a general case of their timing not quite lining up, these two kept orbiting one another without ever quite connecting in the romantic sense. Well, other than when they connected when they were in high school.
