Synopsis (Goodreads):
Amelia Lawrence is not a Scrooge.

She is, however, tired of spending Christmas with a family who doesn't seem to care that she's even present. When the hot coworker she's been fawning over says he needs a last minute house sitter to watch his cute pup Finley, Amelia jumps at the chance for an excuse to stay in town. Making a little money to pad her solo vacation fund is just a bonus.

What neither she nor Levi Abner could've predicted was a blizzard of epic proportions leaving them snowed in together for Christmas.

For anyone else, it would spell disaster. But not Levi. As an overgrown former college football player with a major holiday obsession, he's determined to remind Amelia that she's worth a little Christmas magic.

The problem? He's only got until the snow clears to do it.
Thoughts on That Christmas Kind of Feeling: A woman who doesn't care much for Christmas for reasons entirely family related and a man who knows how to sprinkle on the holiday magic even when snowed in and short on supplies. Amelia and Levi MAKE IT HAPPEN and I am here for it.

So. Amelia. She's not a huge fan of being the overlooked, taken for granted, cast off daughter. Her mother uses her for half-sibling babysitting whenever they get together and it weighs on Amelia to the point where she dreads the holidays. The unavoidable last minute cancelation by Levi's pet sitter is the answer to Amelia's prayers. I mean, (a) she gets to avoid her family and (b) she gets to hang out at her crush's house and spend time with a pup. In other words, she's VERY there for it.

On Levi's end, he's easygoing, doesn't mind the holidays, and happens to like Amelia just as much as she likes him. The freak blizzard that blows in and traps them in his cabin before he can leave? FORTUITOUS! Because now these two are spending time together and discovering all the things they have in common. For example, they both like each other A LOT.

Things happen, Levi finds a way to bring on the holiday cheer, Amelia comes to terms with her family, a pup gets spoiled, and did I mention that THINGS HAPPEN. Because they do. It's excellent. (and smokin' hot!)
