But first, Abby likes her grumpy boss, but isn't about to do anything about it since he only seems to tolerate her presence. When her dad despicably tries to sell her off to pay for his gambling debts, Abby has had enough and retreats to the only place she can think of to ride out the coming storm. It's seems like a good plan since the shop is empty for the holidays and Abby needs a chance to regroup and figure out what she needs to do next.

Grogen is not thrilled to have his shop's alarm go off, but he's not nearly as upset as he could have been when he sees it's Abby. Instinct has him turning around to find out what's wrong and soon the two are sharing space in the best possible way.
