- This week, I had the fabulous Jodi Redford visiting. I introduced her to The Walking Dead (we killed season 1) and Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death. Yes, that movie IS as awesome as it sounds. Anyway. I'm sad to see her go but I had such a blast while she was here. Seriously, romance authors are SO FUN to talk to. *finger guns to Jodi*
- On Tuesday, I talked about The Pre-NaNo Countdown over at KellyApple.com. In other words, I'm taking a look at what I'll be doing to gear myself up to start writing on the 1st.
- Free Books Need Love, Too! weekly reviews:
- Monday - Take Three, Please by Anwen Stiles
- Tuesday - GLA: Forcing the Vampire by Soichiro Irons
- Wednesday - Three Men and a Girlfriend by Tori Kiss
- Seriously Series weekly update: I have TWO MORE BOOKS in the Dark-Hunter reread. I am SO excited about that. SO EXCITED!
- Series started in 2013: 11/18 (+2 since last week)
- Series started before 2013: 5/18 (+1 since last week)
- Series rereads: 8/14 (+0 since last week)
- Did you know Ann Aguirre released a free short story from Fade's point of view for her Razorland series? SHE DID! Also, Horde comes out this week!
- Maureen Johnson gives an AWESOME answer to the question "How do you deal with criticism?" A life preserver made of snakes is used as an example. Yesssssss!
- Amanda storified her writing tips ALL FOR YOU! Things you need. Things she sees! THINGS!
Yay! I'm glad you and Jodi had fun. (With the tiny dildo?)
ReplyDeleteI told you it was tiny. TINY! So tiny I had to use caps to express how tiny it was. And, yes, we had a good time. I wish she could have stayed longer. Maybe we could have left the house. =D Instead we lounged around watching endless episodes of The Walking Dead.
DeleteIt's painful and bad and I kinda love it. "The avocado belt. It stretches from Bakersfield clear on down to the Mexico border." Lolololol!
