Synopsis (Goodreads):
Wyatt Banks is ready to give one woman the world. Unfortunately, his job as a cop tends to interfere with other goals. When Wyatt is sent deep undercover to investigate a sex slave ring, he doesn’t have time to do anything but focus on staying alive in a dark and dangerous underworld.

Wyatt isn’t alone though in his quest to save the women that are being sold into sexual slavery.

His partner, FBI Agent Andrea Somerville, is immersed just as deeply as he is, and she’s the bait to lure the sex slavers out into the open, as she poses as an erotic dancer in an attempt to snare the enemy. But danger runs as high as the sparks between them, and now Wyatt is caught between the job he loves and the woman he wants.
Thoughts on With a Twist: Wyatt's story was a lot less dangerous than I thought it would be. Not that it wasn't good, but I expected more physicality in it. Like, gun fights and lingering stares over bottles of rotgut liquor. Wait. That makes it sound like I was looking to read a western. I WAS NOT. I just thought that a police officer going undercover to stop a sex slave ring would be battling more than his conscience as he fell for the lady agent of his dreams.

Admittedly, we did get some tense moments during the sting. Both Andrea and Wyatt trying to pretend they aren't attracted to one another so they stay in character was fun to watch. You know, if you're into watching. Andrea's performance so they'd be able to carry through with their plan was smokin'. Frankly, the two of them pretty much sizzled constantly.

But the sting itself was sort of anti-climactic. Which is fine. Because the book was about their relationship, not bringing down a sadistic dude who sold women into sexual slavery. But it would have been kinda fun to see more punching and bullets flying and stuff.

Anyway. Smokin' hot law man finds the woman of his dreams during a seedy undercover operation. It was dirty. It was sexy. It was fun. I'm glad to see Wyatt find his happy place.
