Synopsis (Goodreads):
It’s not every day that a beautiful naked woman falls out of the sky and lands face-first on grizzly shifter Berg Dunn’s hotel balcony. Definitely they don’t usually hop up and demand his best gun. Berg gives the lady a grizzly-sized t-shirt and his cell phone, too, just on style points. And then she’s gone, taking his XXXL heart with her. By the time he figures out she’s a honey badger shifter, it’s too late.

Honey badgers are survivors. Brutal, vicious, ill-tempered survivors. Or maybe Charlie Taylor-MacKilligan is just pissed that her useless father is trying to get them all killed again, and won’t even tell her how. Protecting her little sisters has always been her job, and she’s not about to let some pesky giant grizzly protection specialist with a network of every shifter in Manhattan get in her way. Wait. He’s trying to help? Why would he want to do that? He’s cute enough that she just might let him tag along—that is, if he can keep up . . .
Thoughts on Hot and Badgered: HA! Honey badgers. Is there anything more insanely vicious in the shapeshifter world? Despite what the wolverine's might say, I'm going to go with no. Nothing beats a honey badger in a fight.

Well, mostly nothing. But that's why they invented rocket launchers, amirite?!?!

So. We're back in the over-the-top world of some of my favorite shapeshifters. We got to see A LOT of familiar faces and a whole bunch of new ones. Frankly, both things thrill me. I love love love cameos by old favorites, but I also love getting to know new (and potentially insane) folks.

For the record, Charlie and her sisters land on the potentially insane side. Their hybrid genetics make them a little odder than the pure-breds and they're FREAKING HONEY BADGERS. So, you know, they're predisposed to being  a little crazy.

That doesn't bother Berg, though. He likes Charlie. He likes her sisters. He...kinda ends up in a lot of weird situations with them around. Which, again, doesn't really bother him. What can I say? I liked Berg and his siblings. Bears, man. They sure can roll with the punches.

As much as I loved Charlie and Berg together, I'm really REALLY looking forward to book 2. Because YASSSS. I don't know how else to explain it except that I'm digging the next pairing and all the craziness I can see stemming from it. BRING IT!
