Synopsis (Goodreads):
Ravana Faith has been learning to live as a vampire while surrounded by her overprotective family. She hasn’t had her chance to shine, and she’s ready to prove to everyone that she’s not made of glass. When the specter of a slayer comes to their city, she wants to be the one to take him out. But what happens when that’s exactly who she falls for?

Valen Sterling is from a long line of men who hunt vampires. It’s not the life he dreamed of as a child, but what else is he supposed to do? He has a legacy to continue and nothing will get in his way…until Ravana is the one to block his path. Can he give up everything he’s ever known for the woman who is supposed to be his enemy?
Thoughts on Bitten by the Virgin: Book 1 introduced us to the vampire coven and the issues they're facing. Book 2 drops a few more tantalizing hints about what they're capable of (babies! omg! babies!). It also throws in a little mystery. As in, who's the strange vampire who was watching Ravana and Valen dance? I guess I'll have to read on to find out.

Now, I am going to point out that, for a slayer, Valen was awful chill about falling for the very thing he's been trained to hunt. Admittedly, he is pretty open-minded and only goes after vamps who are actively preying on humans. Which, as we know, Ravana and her family aren't. Still, he doesn't have many qualms about hooking up with a lady vamp. That's not a complaint, btw. I kinda dug it.

Ravana's also pretty easy-going about her choice of a boo. She has some concerns about whether or not what she feels for him is real, but that's more because she's concerned that she's transferring her desire for a mate (like Kane has) on the first male who stirs her the slightest.

Spoiler: She's not transferring.

Fast and naughty with a side of hunky vampires and slayers. More please!
