Synopsis (Goodreads):
Five bounty-hunting sisters
Deep in the heart of the Rockies
Fighting to save each other
...and the men who steal their hearts

Cara Pax never wanted to be a bounty hunter. She's happy to leave chasing criminals and tackling skips to her sisters. But if she wants her dreams of escaping the family business to come true, she's got one last job to finish... Only problem is, she doesn't think her bounty is guilty.

Henry Kavenski is a man with innocence to prove. When he realizes that Cara believes him, he'll do anything to keep her out of harm's way. Escaping criminals and dodging cops might not be the best time to fall in love, but Henry and Cara won't give up, not when there's a chance at a new life ahead--if they can survive the fall.
Thoughts on Risk It All: Cara is...geez, how to put this? Cara has many stellar qualities--qualities that will make her a great teacher once everything comes together--but she's not the best at field work when it comes to bounty hunting. Given the situation their mother left her and her sisters in, she's determined to pull her weight and contribute to the Pax coffers. Which is totally noble and understandable, right?

Except...Cara has a soft heart and she's convinced the man she's following to take in isn't guilty of the crime he's being accused of. In fact, the more she sees of Henry and his actions toward her and others, the more she believes in his innocence.

Let's just say that puts her in some sticky situations as people with far less scruples than her get her in their sights.

On Henry's part, he's a little appalled that this sweet woman who's more suited to the classroom and behind the scenes research keeps putting herself in danger for him. Plus, the people he's tangled up in really are bad guys who have no compunctions about using an innocent to get what they want, which he is very much not okay with.

I'm digging the Pax sisters and their (sometimes bumbling, as in Cara's case) bounty hunting ways. Their mother left them in a terrible situation and they're doing their best to minimize the fallout from her actions. It's not always pretty, but they're getting the job done the best way they know how. And finding a little romance along the way. I like!
