Synopsis (Goodreads):
Five bounty-hunting sisters
Deep in the heart of the Rockies
Fighting to save each other
...and the men who steal their hearts

Bounty hunter Molly Pax fought hard for everything she has, turning the bail recovery business she shares with her sisters into an unqualified success. So when their sticky-fingered mother jumps bail and puts the childhood home up as collateral, Molly's horrified. To make matters worse, every two-bit criminal in the Rockies now sees her family's misfortune as their next big break.

She needs help, stat.

Enter rival bounty hunter John Carmondy: six feet of pure trouble, with a cocky grin to match. John's the most cheerfully, annoyingly gorgeous frenemy Molly's ever had the pleasure of defeating...and he may be her only hope of making it out of this mess alive.
Thoughts on In Her Sights: I have a deep, deep love for clueless dudes who suddenly realize the perfect person for them is the one who's been standing in front of them the entire time. As it turns out, I also love the clueless ladies. WHO KNEW?!?!

Molly has NO CLUE Carmondy's sudden appearances while she's on jobs are anything more than him trying to (a) recruit her to work with him or (b) steal her skip. No idea. She's gloriously oblivious even when it's pointed out to her. Literally everyone except her sees it, but she just keeps thinking the simmering attraction is completely on her part and she needed to keep things vaguely professional (if not a little snarky) between them.

HA. Yeah, no. That didn't work so well. Mostly because John's a sweet puppy of a man who wants nothing more than to make sure Molly is safe. He also has stellar intimidating glares that he uses to his (and Molly's) advantage. He quite literally has her back when she's only used to relying on her sisters and watching Molly slowly realize that she trusts him as much as she trusts her siblings is kinda awesome.

Between the simmering sexual tension, we got some great groundwork for the series (Mama Pax is all sorts of bad news and the situation she's put her children is succcccckkkkks. Hard.). With bad guys after the Pax sisters thanks to Mama Pax's shenanigans, there looks to be plenty of danger ahead for everyone.

But, hey! What's a heist and peripheral danger to family, right? Seriously, Mama Pax is awful and I can't wait to see where this series goes.
