Synopsis (Goodreads):
She got more than she bargained for.

When Serena comes to Trangor to participate in the First Hunt, the last thing she expects is to find herself forced to marry an Ordosian… or be executed. She knows nothing of his people, nothing of him, except that he’s got fangs, scales, and a crazy long tail. Serena only has to play the part of being a wife for six months, and then she’ll be free to leave. But Szaro seems to have other plans. He’s big, intimidating, and definitely not human. Yet, how can she remain indifferent when he does everything to please her?

From the moment he lays eyes on Serena, Szaro is fascinated by the delicate human female. Deceptively fragile in appearance, she’s a fearless and skilled hunter. The lingering taste of her scent on his tongue is intoxicating. Claiming her to save her life is no hardship for him. Overcoming their differences and convincing her to stay willingly is a challenge he relishes. But will that prove more than either of them can handle?
Thoughts on I Married a Naga: A human woman who is willing to break the rules to help others and a hunky snakeman who isn't willing to let her die for saving people close to him. Serena might not have set out to marry into Szaro's society, but she acclimates well, all things considered. (It does help to get the stamp of approval from the Prime Mating Agency, too. You know, seeing as how they're experts at matching people and all.)

Beyond a surprise wedding, Serena and Szaro have to learn about one another and their customs. Szaro is shocked to learn humans need to eat several times a day and Serena has to, erm, explain about bathroom stuff (namely that the type of facilities Szaro's people use isn't going to work with human anatomy). Serena is also a protector and warrior, something the females of Szaro's people aren't. There's a lot going on here (in the best way) and the two have to adjust and find workarounds to a few things.

Speaking of things, when THINGS HAPPEN at the tail end of the First Hunt, Serena, Szaro, and Szaro's people have to figure out how to address wrongdoings while also not causing an interstellar incident.

A little danger, a lot of adventure, a wild planet, two very different cultures, and two (ultimately) very determined people. I'm digging these aliens and their human ladies in a big way!
