Synopsis (Goodreads):
It's all fun and games until someone catches feelings

Fate sends me straight into the lion's den. Or rather, the fox's den. After my dad trespassed into a powerful fox demon's territory, our family is struck with a powerful curse. Now, to remove it, I'll have to appeal to the demon's better nature.

Easier said than done. That arrogant fox demon won't be swayed by an apology basket full of treats. He does, however, need a fake mate for a week-long Winter Festival.

Though I'd be a liar if I didn't admit that our doting lovers' act was becoming harder by the day. The more time I spent with Lucca, the more his irresistible charms get under my skin. Deep down, I know it's all a game. But my heart just can't seem to get the memo. When our week-long affair comes to a close, will I really be able to walk away?
Thoughts on Mistlefoe: We're back in the magical realm and hahahahaha! Ruby has to venture into a fox demon's territory in an attempt to get a curse removed. And might I just say...HAHAHA! That curse was genius. Utterly hilarious. Heh.

Anywho. Ruby needs the fox demon to remove the curse. Lucca needs a lady friend to take to the Winter Festival. If she helps him out, he'll remove the curse. Easy peasy, right? Seeing as how Lucca's a hunk of a demon, Ruby agrees and THINGS HAPPEN. Seriously. Ruby can't help herself when Lucca goes all smoldering and Lucca liiiiikes the human pretending to be his mate.

Throw in a jealous lady-demon, a winter festival tradition that gets a little human-esque update, a human lady trying DESPERATELY to not fall for her demon companion, and a sword who does a whole lot of talking. Literally. She's a talking sword and she likes to talk. *thumbs up* all around.
