Thoughts on Her Alien Bully: Growly Hyrrokin Horace bullied our girl Cherise in high school something fierce and...I'm usually not a fan of that. But Horace really did have reasons. Good ones, even. He had his reasons and they were mostly to throw others off her scent until he was strong enough (and powerful enough) to claim her without worry.

That said, he was pretty obnoxious in high school and Cherise very easily could have made him pay for the way he treated her. But she was willing to listen and trust him enough to believe what he was telling her. It didn't hurt that the guy turned her on just by breathing, either. It's hard to keep a proper hate on when the body is ready and willing, amirite?!?!

A little righteous anger (on her part), a lot of groveling (in his part), a few steamy encounters because these two just can't keep their hands off one another, and a few answers about the mafia prince storming into places and sniffing the heck out of the human women. Which might be awkward down the road once he finds his special someone, but that's a problem for another day. Heh.
