Synopsis (Goodreads):
It's Christmastime on Dewberry Farm, and homesteader Lucy Resnick is busy bundling mistletoe bunches and cedar swags for the Buttercup Christmas Market when a neighbor's houseguest keels over right next to her peach orchard. Was it a stray bullet from a hunter that took him out? Or did a guest at the fancy ranch next door decide to scratch somebody off his or her Christmas list? It's up to Lucy to unwrap the mystery… before the holiday killer strikes again.
Thoughts on Slay Bells Ring: A short, quick little nugget of a story set at Dewberry Farm during the holiday season. Whispers of buried treasure (which pops quite a bit in this small town), a suspicious death that *could* be an accident, but which pings all Lucy's internal radar, and the Christmas Market.

In other words, Lucy is doing her thing as we all expect her to do. She's making sale-ables for the market, spending time with her friends (and her honey), and putting those investigative skills she developed in another life to work.

The shorter length of this story means things happen quickly, but it was still highly enjoyable. Plus, we get to spend time with Lucy and her friends at Christmas. Good stuff!
