Synopsis (Goodreads):
A human who opened the wrong magical book, her stern boss, and his “friend” who says he can help…

I’ve been cursed. Not metaphorically. Not, “Oh no! I spilled my coffee!” or “I broke a heel!”

No.

I’ve been cursed by a book and now I’m a danger to everyone I care about.

After finding out that the things that go bump in the night are real a few weeks ago, this is doing nothing for my peace of mind.

Pair it all with the fact that the boss I can hardly speak to seems to be the only one with any answers and the tension between him and the seductive expert he’s brought in…

The outlook for this group project is alarming… but my body is acting like it knows things my mind won’t yet accept.
Thoughts on Entranced by the Basilisks: Emilia has had a ROUGH few weeks and being suddenly literally a part of the paranormal beings she just found out about throws her into an even bigger tailspin. Because being kidnapped and finding out your BFF is a witch when she and her gargoyle honeys rescue you isn't enough, right? RIGHT.

So. Emilia's not in the best place when all this happens. Desperate and afraid, she really doesn't have much of a choice except to have her boss help her learn how to control her new abilities. Which is an issue unto itself because the shy, anxious lady gets a little squirrely when Jasper's around. Throw in Ari, who is sex-ay with all the trimmings, and there's a whole lot of smolder and steam whenever the three of them get going.

As for Jasper and Ari...well, they're complicated. Jasper has to live with the stigma of his family name plus not having the ability to shift. Neither of those things bother Ari, really, but Jasper doesn't want to cause problems for Ari if they're together. Yeah, those two have a lot to unpack and REALLY Emilia's curse (and their attraction to her) is the catalyst that gets them moving in the right direction.

A little magic (blessing or curse, you decide!), a lot of longing looks, some snake-y fun, a lady learning to love the new her, and three people who have to figure out how to make it all work out. *thumbs up*
