Synopsis (Goodreads):
It's Noa's birthday. Ash wishes to observe human customs. He might be the most deadly assassin to ever stalk the Universe, but he's also a discerning shopper, and he wants to spoil his mate.
Thoughts on Lucid Harmony: Deadly assassins with a whole lot of power at their fingertips (kind of literally) and the human lady who softens all his sharp edges. Actually, Ash is really only soft FOR Noa. With everyone else he's an enigmatic killer with a frightening amount of power. But with Noa (and for her, he's learning to unbend a little.

How does a deadly assassin unbend? He finds the perfect gift for her. He listens to her and finds a way to make the thing she wants happen. My heart eyes are strong for these two.

As for Noa, having Ash be himself around her is gift enough. She doesn't need anything, but her honey still finds a way to give her the one thing her heart desired.

Seriously. These lethal aliens and their marshmallow centers (even if they just mush for one person in all the worlds) are EVERYTHING.
