Synopsis (Goodreads):
A charming alien, a single mom, and an adventurous journey…

Dora was fooled once by a charming smile and pretty words; she’s not about to let it happen again, especially now that she has a baby. And especially when those charming smiles come from a reckless, golden-furred alien who irritates her as much as he arouses her.

Naffon joined the military looking for adventure. Instead he was forced to fight in a war which still haunts him, even though he hides his pain behind a cheerful smile. Despair makes him reckless - until he suddenly becomes responsible for a pretty, irritating female and her adorable daughter.

When Dora and Naffon are forced to travel together as husband and wife, Dora begins to see a different side to the massive alien warrior. But can she trust his new tenderness? And can Naffon overcome his demons to become the male that Dora and her daughter need?
Thoughts on Naffon: Big, sweet (and golden!) Naffon is up and his special lady friend is Dora, the wary single mom who wants a fresh start with her baby. Dora left home at the end of book 2 and Naffon (being the smitten gentleman he is) followed as soon as the family found out. It took some time to find her, but soon these two were shacking up and pretending to be married so no one would question a single mom caravanning her way to a new life.

So. Book 2 had Dora pretending to be her baby's sister because she didn't want anyone in their small town giving her the side eye for having a baby without being married. Naffon and the others at the farm figured the truth out pretty quickly and it 100% didn't matter to them that Angel was her daughter, but Dora didn't know this. So she set out to start a new life somewhere no one knew her. Naffon following her wasn't part of her plan, but soon she was glad the big guy was in the picture.

On Naffon's end, he was intrigued by Dora from their first meeting, but she was wary and tried to keep her distance. Once they were on the road...well, keeping her distance didn't work too well and tight quarters make for interesting nights.

A little danger, a road trip that had some ups and downs, a baby who is pretty much universally adored, a warrior with a heart of gold, and a human lady who could only fight against her attraction for so long. MAN, I like these aliens and their devotion to their special someones.
