Synopsis (Goodreads):
Pebble Cove is home to more than just fishermen, Victorian houses, and coastal beauty. It also harbors long-running feuds and buried secrets.

When a local man drops dead after drinking a matcha tea latte, Rosemary Woodmere suspects foul play. As a witness to the murder, she’s called in for questioning.

At the station, she meets a new ghost and learns the town’s police force has a dark past when it comes to covering up murder. She might be off the hook, but can she let the case go when she fears the police might be repeating history?

To make things even more difficult, Rosemary’s life with ghosts is getting complicated. While she searches for the truth about how Asher died, Rosemary attempts to help a local spirit encountering her own difficulties with her death. And while a little ghostly help might give Rosemary a leg up in this case, will it be enough when she comes face-to-face with the real killer?
Thoughts on Matcha Do About Murder: Rosemary's settling into life in Pebble Cove, but business isn't necessarily booming for the teahouse. A visit to the other local teahouse puts her on a collision course with another suspicious death. This time she happened to be sitting next to the individual who died and, well, the lady just can't keep herself from looking into it since it happened right beside her.

As you might guess, the police chief isn't thrilled with her help. Not that Rosemary lets that stop her. And when she uncovers a, err, cover-up from the past by the police, she worries that something like that might happen again. So she quietly learns everything about the people in her new home. Some by good old fashioned sleuthing and some with the help of the town ghosts.

Ghostly goings-on, a possibly minor teahouse rivalry, a suspicious marriage, some research in the library, and a lady who keeps looking for answers even when it puts her in danger. *thumbs up*
