Synopsis (Goodreads):
First there was the mystery of the film star and the diamond... then came the “suicide” that was murder... the mystery of the absurdly cheap flat...a suspicious death in a locked gun room... a million dollar bond robbery... the curse of a pharaoh’s tomb... a jewel robbery by the sea... the abduction of a prime minister... the disappearance of a banker... a phone call from a dying man... and, finally, the mystery of the missing will.

What links these fascinating cases? Only the brilliant deductive powers of Hercule Poirot!
Thoughts on Poirot Investigates: A collection of short stories which are fun because we get to see Poirot solving a bundle of crimes in a short period. HOWEVER, the short format does mean that you skip a lot of the little details that make Poirot's investigations so intriguing.

To be fair, short stories are hit or miss with me, so others might be delighted to dive into quick Poirot mysteries. Personally, I like the longer, novel-length books better. Still, they were quick reads with mysteries that ran the gamut from robbery to murder to a sort of treasure hunt for a will. They were all good, I just prefer my mysteries with a little more meat.
