Synopsis (Goodreads):
It's Yuletide season and mayhem is in the air!

This Love Actually–style holiday romp through Cambric Creek focuses on characters you already know and ones you've only seen glimpses of — together in a madcap collection of misunderstandings and chance encounters, with a sprinkle of holiday wholesomeness and a dollop of holiday horny, and a big holly jolly HEA for all.
Thoughts on A Holly Jolly Mess: Okay. This was fun. Now, I haven't read the main Cambric Creek series yet, so ALL these characters were new to me, but I liked how the seemingly unconnected stories of couples preparing for (and sometimes getting roped into events for) the holidays came together.

While I definitely enjoyed it and (mostly) didn't have any issue following along with who's who (there might have been a slight hiccup in the beginning), I guess I'll need to put the full series on my to-be-read-soon list just so I can revisit this one and see if it has a different impact. Bottom line: I liked it even without having met any of the characters previously and am intrigued (as I was with my other foray into the CC world) by the whole shebang!
