Noelle is a small-town librarian devoted to her job. Rom is the demon coffeeshop owner next door. Both of them have been secretly planning very different (but equally heart-melting) surprises for the other.
But when the Chamber of Commerce reschedules their annual leadership vote, Rom and Noelle have to re-prioritize. If Rom wins the presidency, he can make a real difference for the struggling small businesses of Winter Bliss. To make sure the town-wide surprise he’s planned for Noelle stays under wraps, he’ll have to lean on their friends to run interference.

But life (and the Chamber of Commerce) likes to throw wrenches into plans. Rom had a fun day followed by his gift for Noelle all planned out, but he has to recalibrate if he hopes to be elected president and make a difference in the town. BUT...his surprise is still in the works and he adores Noelle enough to make the best of things.
As for Noelle, she has her own surprise planned and her big, red hunk is going to LOVE it. Partly because it gives him easier access to Noelle and partly because it's a link to the time they shared as kids. In other words, Noelle's gift to Rom might not be as public as Rom's gift to her is, but the lady definitely knocked it out of the park.
Some underhanded tactics, family support (even with miles between them), a sex-ay dress, a demon who would do anything for his librarian, and a lady who adores every inch of her demon and isn't afraid to show it. *thumbs up*
