Synopsis (Goodreads):
Perry Palomino and Dex Foray.

On their own, they’re uniquely brilliant. Together, they’re an unstoppable team.

Until now.

Because after everything the duo has encountered, they haven’t come across an evil quite like this. An evil that has been years in the making, an evil that will stop at nothing until they, and everyone they care for, are destroyed.

Dex and Perry’s love has survived a multitude of sins.

But can it survive the end?
Thoughts on Dust to Dust: I have THE HARDEST time picking up the last book in a series. It's a thing. I can't bear to let characters I've come to know and love go. I don't want it to end. BUT...knowing there's a standalone book out (featuring Perry's little sis, no less!) helps. A lot. Now it's not the end. I don't have to say goodbye. Not really.

So I finally buckled down and read the final book in Dex and Perry's adventures. AND IT WAS GLORIOUS. We had badness and grief and DEX AND PERRY ARE SO VERY MUCH IN LOVE THAT IT MADE IT ALL OKAY. Eventually. I mean, we had to get through the bad parts first. and some of those bad parts were baddddd. Really bad. But we got answers and we got closure.

We got to see the end point in something that's been a very long time in the making.

Did I mention how much I love Dex and Perry? They're not perfect. They make mistakes. But they work. The two of them together are far stronger than they are apart.

The moral of this story is that you should read this series. All of it. And then pick up Ada's story (which I have queued up on my ereader) so you can wallow a bit longer in this world.
