Synopsis (Goodreads):
Paranormal private eye. Grim reaper extraordinaire. Whatever. Charley Davidson is back! And she's drinking copious amounts of caffeine to stay awake because, every time she closes her eyes, she sees him: Reyes Farrow, the part-human, part-supermodel son of Satan. Yes, she did imprison him for all eternity, but come on. How is she supposed to solve a missing persons case, deal with an ego-driven doctor, calm her curmudgeonly dad, and take on a motorcycle gang hellbent on murder when the devil's son just won't give up?
Thoughts on Third Grave Dead Ahead: Okay. I'm digging this series, but I also want more...something. More explanations from Reyes and/or anybody else Charley comes across who decides to go all oracular and make vague references to how she needs to figure out what she's capable of, I think. I mean, I get that she needs to figure things out on her own TO AN EXTENT, but...I dunno. Where's the line, man? At what point does a person realize their vague suggestions are putting Charley in danger? Honestly, as good as she is at everything except driving while asleep, you'd think they'd give her a little hint and let her extrapolate from there.

But no. Charley's left in the dark. Again.

I actually totally get her upset. If the people she trusts the most aren't willing to trust her with information vital to her own survival, what's the point?

That said, this book did give us more information on Reyes's completely awful childhood. We got closure on a sticky situation Reyes was trying to unravel. We got more loin-ful action with Charley and Reyes. We also got Charley laying lips on people who weren't Reyes. Which...I guess I understand given the circumstances. BUT STILL. Reyes makes her girly bits tingle just by appearing. That's kinda hard to top.

Here's to smokin' hot Reyes (sometimes literally) and Charley's ability to stay awake (mostly). Her driving abilities are still questionable when she's sleep-deprived, but her other abilities (mostly) outweigh that.
