Synopsis (Goodreads):
Grim Reaper Charley Davidson is back in Eleventh Grave in Moonlight, the latest installment of Darynda Jones’ New York Times bestselling paranormal series.

My entire life can be summed up in one sentence:
“Well, that didn’t go as planned.”
—T-Shirt

A typical day in the life of Charley Davidson involves cheating husbands, errant wives, missing people, philandering business owners, and, oh yeah...demons, hell hounds, evil gods, and dead people. Lots and lots of dead people. As a part time Private Investigator and full-time Grim Reaper, Charley has to balance the good, the bad, the undead, and those who want her dead.

Now, Charley is learning to make peace with the fact that she is a goddess with all kinds of power and that her own daughter has been born to save the world from total destruction. But the forces of hell are determined to see Charley banished forever to the darkest corners of another dimension. With the son of Satan himself as her husband and world-rocking lover, will Charley be able to defeat the ultimate evil and find a way to have her happily ever after after all?
Thoughts on Eleventh Grave in Moonlight: Good gravy, Charley knows how to get herself into some serious pickles.Heck, sometimes I think she climbs into the jar and screws the lid shut behind her.

Not that it's always her fault, mind you, but she does have a disarming ability to create focused chaos at unexpected times.

I mean, there's the whole attempting world domination thing (possibly she's joking, but maybe not) and the let's kill the one god on this plane (mayyyyybe she's not really going to do it, but THEN AGAIN!) and learning to control her godly powers (which is actually a good thing with just a teeny bit of chaos thrown in because godly powers and all that) and...you know, the list could probably go on. Charley's special like that.

Beyond all that, Reyes and Charley are still sort of keeping secrets. Actually, Reyes wasn't so much keeping a secret as trying to dissuade Charley from doing something without giving her any concrete reasons as to why he wanted her to stop that thing. Which is sort of like a secret, I guess. Anywho. This leads to some friction. Namely, a lot of smoldering glances from Mr. Farrow himself. Which is actually not a bad thing AT ALL.

That said, THINGS HAPPEN. THINGS. OMG! THINGS. Book 12 is waiting for me. I must away.
