Synopsis (Goodreads):
What happens when the cute mountain man you made out with in an ice fishing shack turns out to be your brother’s best friend?

A whole lot of awkward, that’s what.

Maggie’s mind is reeling when she discovers the guy she became tangled up with at Marv’s Bait & Tackle isn’t a stranger like she thought.

The big snag: Sam and Maggie’s chemistry is hot enough to melt ice, which makes keeping their secret far more difficult than either expected. Especially when one of them decides they want this arrangement to be more than just a catch and release.
Thoughts on Next In Line: It's Sam and Maggie's turn to find unexpected romance. Unexpected because (A) Sam doesn't realize Maggie is Megan (as Miles calls her) and (B) their connection hits out of the blue in a bait and tackle shop. You know, surrounded by bait.

I have to say, I liked these two. Maggie is desperately trying to turn herself into someone her ex would want back and somewhere along the way she finds the version of herself that fits her best. Which is great. As it turns out, Sam likes Maggie just the way she is. While she's laser focused on achieving her goals, he's urging her to enjoy life. And hopefully him. But mostly life.

It turns out enjoying life leads to seeing what's in front of you instead of trying to get back the person who discarded you. It's all about the journey, though, and Maggie had to take a few missteps before she could see that adjusting your goals isn't a failing, but a strength.

Not going to lie, Miles and his...uhh, how to put this? His time spent with Kate has led to him looking at things in a different light and I kinda loved the things that slipped out of his mouth sometimes. Romance writers! YES!

I'm liking this series pretty hard! Keep 'em coming!
