Synopsis (Goodreads):
Violet Parker knows better than to play with devils. They always cheat, especially when lives are at stake. Deadwood’s charming, troublemaking, and soul-sucking devils are no different, and they’re biting at her heels.

But the clock is ticking and Violet has no choice—she must risk her life to save her treasured Aunt Zoe. With any luck, she might be able to trick the devils and beat the old terrors at their own game. If not, Deadwood could end up short one Executioner.

“Executioners don't duck, they swing.” ~Violet Parker
Thoughts on Devil Days in Deadwood: I honestly have no idea how I keep managing to read this series out of order when I'm actively working on trying to read it IN order, but here we are. Reading this book out of order. (For anybody wondering, this year has been a weird year and I kept figuring I had just forgotten some of the things that were being referenced until I finally went and checked - at about the halfway point of the book - and realized that, yep, I had missed 2 previous books. At that point, I felt pretty committed so I kept on. And then I flipped to those two missed books once I finished this one. Because 2020.)

Anyway. Violet's being her usual offbeat (in a good way), chaotic (also in a good way) self and I still like her even if I'm too addlebrained to read this series in order. She and Doc are pretty tight. Nat and Coop are steaming things up (which is one of the things I missed when I skipped those two books? I guess? I'll know soon enough!). Harvey is...well, Harvey is Harvey and he's a hoot no matter what.

Demons are on the loose (among other things, some of which miiiiight be Violet's fault) and Vi and her crew are on the case. It's never a dull moment with these guys, is it?

Now I'm going to go catch up on this series once and for all and NOT READ THEM OUT OF ORDER ANYMORE. (At this point, I just might have to commit to a full series, in-order read in the near future. Because some things just need to be done.)
