Synopsis (Goodreads):
Jayne Frost is a lot of things. Winter elf, Jack Frost’s daughter, Santa Claus’s niece, heir to the Winter Throne and now…private investigator. Sort of.

When she buys a sealed box at an estate sale and cat-related circumstances cause that box to be opened, life in Nocturne Falls starts to go haywire. Jayne has no choice but to figure out what she unleashed and how to recapture it.

But Jayne suspects the woman behind the box is hiding something. Something that could cause a town resident serious trouble. Or worse, to lose their life.
With the help of her two favorite guys, a sexy vampire and a hot summer elf, and a few new friends, Jayne tackles what feels like an impossible mission. And winds up almost iced herself.
Thoughts on Miss Frost Ices the Imp: Okay. It's been a while since I spent time with Jayne Frost in Nocturne Falls. She's fun. Then again, so's Nocturne Falls. Mixing a little Christmas fun with the Halloween vibe makes for an interesting place. As for Jayne, the lady loves her sugar, has a little hunky man problem (as in, she has more than one of them hanging around), and she has a knack for getting involved in things that sometimes involve larcenous activities to get to the bottom of.

Which is cool. Because Jayne can slip into otherwise unslip-into-able places thanks to her quirky genetics. Also, she has more than a few friends around town willing to help her out no matter the situation.

This time around, Nocturne Falls is being hit with a plague of pranks thanks to a mysterious box and her cat. Jayne feels obligated to try to put things right (because she's an upstanding sort of gal) because things seem to be getting worse before they're going to get better. Cue her hunky men who are more than willing to use their skills to keep her out of trouble when things get hairy.

A little elfish magic, a lot of Dr. Pepper, Christmas fudge, pregnant vampires, and pranks that have the entire town on edge. *thumbs up*
