Synopsis (Goodreads):
Jayne Frost is a lot of things. Winter elf, Jack Frost's daughter, Santa Claus's niece, heir to the Winter Throne and now...private investigator. Sort of.

But none of that matters at the moment, because Jayne is headed back to the North Pole to visit her family, and leaving everyone’s favorite werewolf, Birdie Caruthers, to watch her cat, Spider.

With the heartfelt promise that all will be well, Birdie follows Jayne’s instructions to the letter. Unfortunately, that doesn’t stop Spider from getting into trouble.

It takes the help of a gentlemen friend (and a few others), for Birdie to make things right again. But not before her love life takes a very interesting turn…
Thoughts on When Birdie Babysat Spider: A fun little short featuring everyone's favorite werewolf who helps in unexpected ways and the cat who loves his Chicken Party. Oh, yeah. And Spider can talk so he makes sure everybody KNOWS he loves his Chicken Party.

So. Birdie and Spider. She's cat-watching both him and Jayne's apartment while Jayne's off visiting the fam. Birdie's determined to do a good job, but things get a little tangled before too long. Which isn't her fault, just a case of bad timing.

Fortunately for Birdie (and Spider), she has friends she can call on to put things right. She gets to spend a little time with the man she's had her eye on and everything turns out a-okay in the end. *thumbs up*
