Synopsis (Goodreads):
Vampire Cat Crawfield Russell is looking forward to a little down time with her best friend, Denise. But when witches crash the party, a fun getaway turns into a paranormal showdown.

Vampire Cat Crawfield is experiencing a new role as a mother. Turns out, trying to manage a perfect domestic life for her daughter is more...challenging than Cat ever imagined. Since things have finally quieted down in the undead world, her husband, Bones, suggests that Cat recharge by spending a girls-only getaway with her best friend, Denise.

Cat and Denise intend to spend the week doing nothing more than dancing, drinking, and sightseeing. Unfortunately, they stumble across a deadly summer solstice ritual performed by powerful witches who have no intention of letting their uninvited guests live to reveal what they saw. Will this girls-only getaway turn out to be the last vacation – ever! – for Cat and Denise?
Thoughts on A Grave Girls' Getaway: When a fun couple of days away with her bestie turns into a fight for their lives...well, that's actually pretty normal in Cat's world. Sure, this time it wasn't the usual suspects trying to kill them, but dead is dead, amirite?!?! Except dead isn't really dead when it comes to these guys.

Anywho. Cat and Denise are trying to have some girls' only time when Cat stumbles onto something dark and dangerous. Cat being Cat, she can't walk away when someone needs her help. So she jumps in with both feet and a lot of attitude and suddenly she's neck deep in a whole lot of danger.

Seeing as how I'm deeply invested in Cat's world (and all the wild adventures she ends up in), I THOROUGHLY enjoyed watching her trying to battle her way out of this one. It takes a few friends in low places, plus the combined might of Cat, Denise, and their honey bunnies to get the job done, but they did it. It was messy and dangerous and a little on the wet side, but they got it done. *thumbs up*
