Synopsis (Goodreads):
Deputy Tessa Black spots a man disturbing a grave in the local cemetery and gives chase. But when Tessa catches him, she learns that the ghoulish trespasser wasn’t robbing graves; he was burying a box of bones.

With the help of her fiancĂ©, park ranger Logan Wilde, Tessa discovers that the remains belong to a missing teenager from a nearby island. After the girl disappeared nine months ago, police labeled her a runaway. Now, though, it’s clear the teenager was murdered.

When the only witness is an uncooperative teenager, Tessa and Logan must find the killer before the boy becomes the next target.
Thoughts on The Wrong Bones: It's Tessa turn to make Widow's Island a little safer and things take an odd turn with what she finds in the local cemetery. Odd as in, someone disturbing a grave, but not to rob it. To be fair, somebody wanting to rob a grave is a little odd in itself, but different strokes and all that.

Regardless, Tessa and her honey Logan start following the clues. They have to figure out who the bones belong to and why someone was trying to bury them. Which little to work with and even less in the way of leads, they do what they do best and start digging. Not literally. Because, you know, that as done already when the cemetery trespasser tried to bury bones.

A little danger, an unexpected twist, a handful of suspects, and a whole lot of grit and determination. I do enjoy spending time on Widow's Island. Even with all the crime and murders and whatnot. *thumbs up*
