Synopsis (Goodreads):
Quinton Zane is back.

Jack Lancaster, consultant to the FBI, has always been drawn to the coldest of cold cases, the kind that law enforcement either considers unsolvable or else has chalked up to accidents or suicides. As a survivor of a fire, he finds himself uniquely compelled by arson cases. His almost preternatural ability to get inside the killer's head has garnered him a reputation in some circles--and complicated his personal life. The more cases Jack solves, the closer he slips into the darkness. His only solace is Winter Meadows, a meditation therapist. After particularly grisly cases, Winter can lead Jack back to peace.

But as long as Quinton Zane is alive, Jack will not be at peace for long. Having solidified his position as the power behind the throne of his biological family's hedge fund, Zane sets out to get rid of Anson Salinas's foster sons, starting with Jack.
Thoughts on Untouchable: The last of the boys Anson took in after the fire at the cult compound is up and he's become a man who is VERY good at hunting down bad guys. Which, as you might imagine, makes Quinton Zane extremely nervous. Or at least as nervous as a sociopath who believes he's smarter and better than everyone can get.

But before we talk about that guy, let's talk about Jack and Winter. He's a man whose intuition is off the charts and is very good at solving cold cases. She's a woman with a secret who settles Jack just by being near him. Jack's ability to see patterns where others don't have kept him and his brothers on Zane's trail. Yeah, Jack's gift for putting together clues makes Zane VERY nervous.

A little danger, a charming (and murderous) con-man, a fire maze, some solid meditation, a woman who is very good at taking things in stride, and a man who uses his gifts to make the world a better place. I've enjoyed my time with the men who survived the cult fire and the women who complete them. *thumbs up*
