Synopsis (Goodreads):
Welcome to Everlasting, Maine, where there's no such thing as normal.

Marcy Lewis is cursed (honestly and truly) which makes dating very interesting. With a string of loser boyfriends behind her, she's done looking for love in all the wrong places. That is until the new firefighter arrives in the sleepy seaside town of Everlasting. Nicholas Logan is unlike any other man she's ever had in her life. When someone starts sending her photographs that raise a red flag it soon becomes apparent that she's not just cursed, she's in serious danger.

Nicholas doesn't know what to make of the charismatic young woman managing the local coffee shop. As a string of mysterious fires begin popping up around town, the two unite in search of clues as to who or what is responsible, discovering along the way that things are very rarely what they seem to be.
Thoughts on Curses and Cupcakes: It's time for Marcy (the manager of Anna's coffee shop) to kick her love-curse to the curb and find some happiness. Or just to make delicious cupcakes. Heck, why not do both, amirite?!?!

As it turns out, Marcy's curse is not so fun. But with the help of one of Aunt Polly's potions (reminder: Aunt Polly's potions ALWAYS make things interesting!), she has a chance at getting her life back. Of course, the curse might already have struck again, but what can Marcy do but try to ride it out.

The good news? The newest guy she's interested in is a pretty stand up sort of gut. He's a firefighter with his own supernatural secret and he's 100% willing to do whatever he can to help Marcy and keep her safe.

A little danger, a lot of cupcakes, a creepy stalker, a few rogue fires, and a romance that might be part of the curse but also might not be. Only time will tell, right?
