Synopsis (Goodreads):
Having endured weeks of torture in the bowels of hell, Kane wants nothing to do with his beautiful rescuer, Josephina Aisling. The half-Fae female threatens to awaken the demon of Disaster inside him—a beast he's determined to kill, no matter the price.

Josephina is hunted by a brutal enemy—her royal family—and Kane is her only source of protection. He's also the only male to ever set her aflame, and even he succumbs to the heat. But as they navigate the treacherous world of the Fae, they are forced to make a choice: live apart…or die together.
Thoughts on The Darkest Craving: It's our boy Kane's turn to shine and he is NOT having a great time of things after being held prisoner in hell. Not only is he dealing with bad memories and a demon who enjoys causing disasters a little too much, he also kinda sorta maybe made a bargain with the fae who helped him escape and he's super really not okay with holding up his end of the bargain.

On her end of things, Josephina has a really awful life back in the fae realm and she's desperate to escape. As the unwanted daughter of the king, her only use to her family is as a whipping girl for the full-blood fae princess. Which is NOT COOL. She wants out and she thinks there's only one way for her to achieve her freedom. Except Kane's not cooperating the way she thinks he should.

A terrible family, LOTS of familiar faces, prophecies that need to be unraveled (and possibly thwarted), William being William, a phoenix with a chip on her shoulder, and Kane going toe to toe with Disaster the only way he knows how. Might I just say, Disaster does not like Josephina. Which, as you might imagine, makes Kane like her even more.

On to Torin!
