Thoughts on A Chance for Arus: Arus is one of the two Defiant crew who decided to temporarily stay on Reka 5 to help out around the colony. As it turns out, he absolutely enjoys the human women who are acclimating to their new lives. He especially has a hankering for Mia, the sweet lady with an overbearing mother and some questionable baking skills.

On Mia's end, she's trying to adjust to being stolen from Earth and the new world she's found herself in. Her mother's TERRIBLE matchmaking attempts (and I do mean TERRIBLE) are just another thing she has to deal with on top of everything else. Meeting Arus puts her on a path her mother is not thrilled with, but Mia is determined. That said, her mother might be more determined and Mia has her hands full on more than one front.

A group of humans not thrilled with their new normal, a mom who tries to be WAY too involved in her daughter's romantic life, a little danger, a little abduction, a warrior who will do anything to keep his special someone safe, and a lady who is finding herself after a life-changing event.
