Thoughts on A Home for Berus: Berus, Ulrek's muscle on the Revenge, is up and his special someone is a human lady who's dealt with A LOT since she was taken from Earth. Being thrown in a brig by a group of nasty bounty hunters isn't even the worst of it. After all, Cami did survive (barely) crash landing on an abandoned mining planet and almost getting eaten by the native fauna.

So when big, brawny Berus crashes in and takes care of said nasty bounty hunters, Camis is a-okay with that. Berus is sweet and gentle despite his massive size and he's a far cry better from the thief who stole her from her last owner. Sure, the male who originally stole her is a problem, but Cami has learned to grab life when she can and enjoy the little things. Or big things, really.

Anywho. Ulrek and crew hatch a plan to keep Cami safe, things go a little sideways (just a little), and Berus and Cami end up spending some quality one on one time in the wilderness. In case you're wondering, THINGS HAPPEN when these two are alone with time on their hands.

A little danger, a little miscommunication, a truly unpleasant thief, rain, native critters, a male who is more than just his muscles, and a lady who likes every inch of him, including his brain. *thumbs up*
