Synopsis (Goodreads):
The headless horseman was hunting for his next victim.
Well, he found one. Me…

Halloween night is not the time to be out alone. I knew that. But I could either stay with my abusive, soon-to-be-ex fiancé or take my chances with the monster who haunts the roads.

I chose the monster.

He could’ve taken my head on the spot. I…distracted him.

Headless Jack was so pleased with my efforts that he made me a sexy proposal. If I stayed with him and satisfied his every dark desire, come morning, I’d leave with my head and his hidden treasure.

I could have said no. Maybe I should have.

I didn’t.

Now, it’s going to be hard, dirty work. But someone has to do it.

Might as well be me, right?
Thoughts on Jack's Head: Bess's fiancé puts her in an awkward terrible situation (her soon-to-be-ex is kind of terrible himself, so that tracks) and Bess takes off to get away from him (and the situation, which was super blech). Her path to escape takes her down the road Jack haunts. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Just kidding. Bess and Jack have some issues they need to work through before they get their happily ever after. The main one being that Jack is a ghost who takes heads on All Hallows Eve. He spares Bess only because she's a quick ducker (as in she ducks quickly) and she finds a way to turn his murderous rage in another direction.

Yup, Bess uses her feminine wiles on the big guy and he's totally game to spare her in return for some late night lovin'. That makes it sound very transactional, but Bess is into it. Very much so. Let's just say that Jack puts her through her paces, is a giver of the highest order, and doesn't leave his partner unsatisfied.

When her ex shows up to put her in her place, Jack protects her the only way he knows how. This also opens the door for something more permanent between them. You know, if Bess is interested. (Spoiler: she's interested.) Steamy, sex-ay, and full of surprises. *thumbs up*

Synopsis (Goodreads):
An angel-costumed Omega, an accidental summoning, and one lonely devil.

Art student Eden Evans is your average college-going omega. When she's not in class, she's either painting or waiting for her alpha crush to finally notice her.

That is, until the annual Kappa Sigma Psi Halloween party arrives to shake things up. It's the place to be on October 31st, and Eden's art skills just landed her a coveted invite.

Now all she needs to do is help decorate for the party. Easy-peasy, right? Wrong.

When Eden's decorating attempts summon a whole lot more than spooky vibes, her Halloween night quickly goes from fun to downright sinful. Read at your own risk...and Happy Halloween!
Thoughts on Not Today Satan: Eden's an omega who happens to hold all the pieces to summon the devil himself in her hands. Well, actually, she's a college student with a library book she didn't check out, the ability (and imagination) to decorate a frat house with spooky designs, and an unexpected heat about to make itself known. As it turns out, those are all the pieces she needs to summon her devil.

And Luc? He's game. More than, to be honest. He's been dreaming about Eden and Eden's been dreaming about him (without knowing he's Satan or anything) and when all the conditions of his summoning are met the big guy puts in an appearance. No lie, he might be Lucifer himself and in charge of a whole lot of souls, but Hell has recently gone through some streamlining and he has more than enough time to take care of his lady.

A little magic, a little summoning, a little heat, a devil who is a giver, and an omega who has no inhibitions when her heat's on her. *thumbs up*

Falling for the Monster
1. Curses and Cornstalks - Paperback | Kindle

R.K. Pierce
Amazon

Synopsis (Goodreads):
A century-old curse. A sentient scarecrow. A city girl who’s in way over her head.

Cassie never imagined leaving the big city, but after dumping her cheating ex, she lands in the tiny town of Cold Springs. However, farm-life isn't as peaceful as she thought it would be.

Something is haunting the town and plaguing the locals… And she's determined to find out what it is.

Atticus has been cursed for over a hundred years, bound to a stake he can’t escape. But when a brave, wide-eyed woman stumbles upon him, he can't help but be intrigued.

She isn't like the others… And she might be his only shot at freedom.

With All Hallows’ Eve approaching, Cassie is unable to stay away from the scarecrow that haunts her dreams. Can they find a way to break the curse and be together, or will Atticus’ soul belong to the cornfield forever?
Thoughts on Curses and Cornstalks: Straight up, I liked this book overall, but I was a little thrown that we didn't learn more about the curse itself. I mean, I fully understand what Atticus said happened, but it felt like maybe there should be more (this part may be an entirely me thing, so do with it what you will). I was also expecting the three town rules to somehow tie together with the curse. I had a whole scenario built up revolving around apple pie and not entering town before noon on Sunday. ALAS.

Again, though, I liked the book. Atticus was a good man driven to bad things by circumstances (or the lady who cursed him, I guess) and Cassie saw beneath the monster to the heart of the man he was. Cassie was caught between trying to get over her previous relationship and her drive to keep herself from thinking about her cheating ex led her to do some questionable things that would have ensured she was not the final girl in a horror movie.

But she survived. And her kindness put her on the path to helping Atticus. Fun, sex-ay, and with enough out of the ordinary anatomical differences to make this monster-loving reader happy. *thumbs up*

Halloween Heat
1. Heat with the Hellhound
2. Hellhound's Obsession
3. Submitting to the Hellhound - Kindle

Amazon

Synopsis (Goodreads):
She filed the wrong papers. Now she's filled with hellfire.

When curvy bookkeeper Jade Martinez thinks she's doing her eccentric boss's weird filing in the office basement, she accidentally completes an ancient summoning circle, calling forth Lock—a hellhound enforcer who mistakes her for a witch trying to bind him.

But her pure soul and virgin scent trigger his mating instincts so hard he immediately goes into rut, his infernal knot already dripping as he explains she has two choices: submit to him or get dragged to hell anyway.

As Jade discovers that submitting to a hellhound means constant knotting and praise for being such a good little mate, she realizes some accounting errors have incredible benefits—especially when her familiar bloodline means she was literally made to take his knot.
Thoughts on Submitting to the Hellhound: Another hellhound meets his match and...I have some questions. I don't know if I missed something or what, but how did neither Jade's boss or her witchy coworker know Jade had familiar blood (or so they claimed) until after she'd been working there for a while, but they had access to Jade's grandma's journals? Clearly the coworker (Sarah? Maybe?) had read the journals because she was able to direct Jade to specific entries when she handed them over. So? DID I MISS SOMETHING? Am I overthinking this? It's possible.

Anywho. Jade somehow summons a hellhound by accidentally setting up a very specific ritual. I'm cool with that, actually, because it brought the big guy into her life. And yes, Lock was big. And angry. And then he catches Jade's scent and it's all over for him. He's been smited. Hit with the smit. SMITTEN TO THE EXTREME. He's also a little overbearing, but Jade seemed into that, so I guess good on him.

Instalove with a side of exhibition (which I'm not really a big fan of). I just don't see how getting your freak on with your special someone is fun when your boss and coworker (among others) are there as witnesses. This would be the boss and coworker who used your fledgling abilities without telling you to make a killing in the antiquities market. Sure, they paid you what you were worth AFTER THE FACT, but would they have it they hadn't had their hand forced? That right there is enough for me to say NO THANKS and become an independent contractor where I charge them the BLINDING BETRAYAL fee on top of my normal contract amount.

But I'm petty and hold grudges like that.

Halloween Heat
1. Heat with the Hellhound
2. Hellhound's Obsession - Kindle
3. Submitting to the Hellhound

Piper Kane
Amazon

Synopsis (Goodreads):
She mispronounced his name. Now she's screaming it for eternity.

When mortician Willow Blackthorne mispronounces a Latin name while cleaning antique funeral jewelry, she accidentally summons Bane—the original hellhound who guards death's door, not the three-headed dog from myths.

He immediately recognizes her virgin death-touched scent as his fated mate, his demonic knot already swelling with need as he explains she has thirteen days to accept their bond or he returns to eternal loneliness.

As Willow discovers that being Death's princess means taking Bane's evolved knot in every room of the funeral home (and most of the cemetery), she learns that some mispronunciations are actually mating calls—and some hellhounds are worth becoming immortal for.
Thoughts on Hellhound's Obsession: Another hellhound is up and Bane's special someone is a woman who has a special connection to the dead. Already. before Bane arrived.

Yup, Willow can see and interact with ghosts. Seeing as how she's a mortician, she's pretty keyed in on all aspects of death. Which makes sense because her death-touched abilities are genetic and this makes her an EXCELLENT match for Bane.

A little danger (until she's claimed by Bane, Willow is fair game for any other creature out there), a whole lot of sex-ay times, a hellhound who has found his other half, and a lady who knows a good male when she meets him. I mean, she's a little freaked out by him appearing, but her reservations don't last long.

Halloween Heat
1. Heat with the Hellhound - Kindle
2. Hellhound's Obsession
3. Submitting to the Hellhound

Piper Kane
Amazon

Synopsis (Goodreads):
She summoned a demon by accident. He's keeping her on purpose.

When exhausted night nurse Jade Thompson reads from an ancient book she bought for Halloween decorations, she accidentally summons Rex Infernus—a massive hellhound demon who's been waiting centuries for his fated mate.

With only 72 hours before he's dragged back to hell, Rex is determined to convince the curvy virgin that she belongs to him, body and soul.

But as Jade discovers her witch heritage and experiences her first mating heat, she realizes some accidents are actually destiny.

Now she must decide: send him back to hell forever, or complete a binding ritual that will tie her to a breeding-obsessed demon who's desperate to knot her, claim her, and fill her with his pups.

When a hellhound prince declares you're his mate, resistance is futile—especially when his demon anatomy is designed to make you scream his name.
Thoughts on Heat with the Hellhound: Home from work after a long shift, Jade reads a passage from an old book she found and BOY does she get more than she expected. A hunky hellhound who claims she's his fated mate appears out of nowhere and Jade doesn't quite know what to do with him. I mean, her body is telling her what to do, but her head and heart are putting off mixed signals. She's just a massively confused ball of woman, basically.

Fortunately, Rex is able to fill in some of the gaps. He's hers. If they don't complete the mating bond within 72 hours, he'll go back to hell and his lonely existence and the two of them will never need to cross paths again. Frankly, that's ideal for him. Especially the lonely existence part. So the big guy sets out to do what he needs to do to convince Jade to choose him. This involves lots of hot looks, some mutually pleasurable experiences, and showing her just how devoted he plans on being for the rest of their (probably extremely long) lives.

What can I say except Rex is persuasive.

A little heat (more than a little, really), a few surprises, a hellhound who knows what he wants, and a lady who is very appreciative of all her demon's forms. *thumbs up*

Synopsis (Goodreads):
“I want you to chase and..."
It all began when I said this to my boyfriend.
A little fantasy with him is all I wanted for Halloween.
A way to spice up our relationship after being in a long-distance one for over a year.
Except, it isn’t only him who heard my fantasy.
It's the older version of him.
His silver fox father.
Our town’s honourable sheriff.
Or not so honourable, considering the darker proclivities he’s been hiding all this time.
Now, I’m his captive.
The prize for my freedom is to become his.
Thoughts on My Captive's Heart: I'm not sure how to approach this review. I ultimately enjoyed the book. BUT some of the things Alexander did in his quest to make Molly his are questionable. I mean, no matter how he spun it, he did kidnap her. He also used knowledge of her fantasies to let her believe her first encounter with him was actually with her boyfriend (his son).  That said, if I handwave those things and accept that they're something a morally gray character would do, I can go with it.

So. Molly has had it bad for her boyfriend's dad since she first met him. But he was older and she thought her crush was one-sided so she tried to ignore it. She wasn't terribly successful on the ignoring thing, but she tried. She also ended up with Alexander's son mostly because it seemed like people expected them to end up together. Which is never really a good reason for dating someone.

On Alexander's end, he has also had a thing since they first met. But Molly was eighteen and he thought that was too young for her to be with him. By the time she was old enough, she was dating his son and he'd missed his chance. Then he overhears her fantasies and he does what he needs to do to show her he could give her everything she needs and then some.

Fantasies made real, a man who is willing to push boundaries to get the woman he adores, and a lady who is torn between her heart and what she thinks she needs to do.

Synopsis (Goodreads):
Masked gamer “Joker” is used to being in control – on screen and off. But when curvy girl Amara stumbles into his world at GamerCon, all bets are off.

One look is all it takes. Instalust hits hard and fast, leaving them both breathless and craving more.

Joker’s dominant side emerges as Amara awakens desires he thought he had in check. She’s never felt this kind of heat before, and she’s ready to play.

But when the convention lights dim, will the game be over before it truly begins?
Thoughts on STFUATTDLAGG: Not going to lie, I picked this book up for the title. And it didn't disappoint.

One look is all it takes for Joker. Just hearing the sound of his voice is all it takes for Amara. She might not know a ton about gaming, but she's willing to follow the masked man to his hotel room and let him do gloriously pleasurable things to her. In fact, she's willing to follow his lead in all things. And Joker is REALLY down with that.

Fast and sex-ay with a little "in danger of being caught" thrown in for some extra spice. Amara might not be big into gaming when she steps into GamerCon, but this gamer is big into her when she leaves. *thumbs up*

Synopsis (Goodreads):
I thought I knew everything about exorcisms. Latin rites, holy water, confidence, I had it all for my first solo case.

I was so f*cking wrong.

Instead of casting the demon out, I pulled him INTO me. Now Maxphas, an ancient possession demon, is trapped in my body, experiencing every sensation through my flesh. Every touch, every taste, every ache of desire that builds between us until I'm going insane.

But when he manifests physically, dark and demanding and desperate, I realize the truth: I didn't fail the exorcism. I completed it perfectly.

And now I belong to a demon who knows my every secret fantasy.

"You pulled me into you, little priestess. That makes you MINE."

I thought I was saving someone else's soul. Turns out I was damning my own. Best mistake I ever made.
Thoughts on Possessed by My Demon: This one was pretty darn fun. An exorcist taking care of a little demon possession problem *accidentally* pulls the demon into herself and bonds with him. While Sylvie tries to convince herself it was her inexperience that caused the issue, Maxphas (who can read all the thoughts and desires running through her mind) points out that the demon romance she read recently and her desire to be possessed (in a sexy way, I'm guessing?) miiiight have been the real reason.

As in, Sylvie wanted to experience some good demon lovin'.

Fortunately for her (and Maxphas), these two are pretty well suited. Sylvie is down to try all sorts of things and Maxphas gets to experience them in a very real sense.

Fast, fun, and sex-ay. Demon lovin', AMIRIGHT?!?!

Synopsis (Goodreads):
He’s sworn to protect her. But from who? Himself?

I should never have gone to the Halloween party. I was the good girl, the sheltered heiress, sneaking out for one night of freedom.

That’s when he found me. A massive, dangerous man in a terrifying, neon yellow mask. His voice hauntingly familiar. He calls himself my protector. He’s been watching me from the shadows for years, knowing my secrets, my fears, my innocent desires.

His obsession is a shield and a cage. He’s the darkness he’s trying to save me from. Now, I have to make a choice: run from the monster in the mask, or surrender to the protector behind it.
Thoughts on Masked Protector: I think I'm going to have to accept that this series is not for me. It has the creepy masks that I liiiiike, but there were too many narrative inconsistencies for me to really let go, stop thinking, and enjoy it.

Mia's the sheltered rich girl who's snuck out to join the Halloween ball with her friends. She guesses who her protector is early on, but I guess he never confirmed it (although we, as readers, knew she was correct when she named him) and she was shocked when he finally revealed himself? I honestly feel like there were missing transitional scenes that might have explained things, but instead we were just left with a scene jump and Caleb brooding darkly as he watched over Mia from the shadows.

Anywho. Caleb goes all dark (it wasn't really dark), Mia submits to him. There was a sidebar about Mia's brother begging Caleb to find Mia (I'm not sure why he was so frantic, but I guess he wanted her saved from the party?) and one where the shadowy Lucien told Caleb he had to cut the dead weight that is (I guess) Mia. I don't know. I didn't understand where all that came from and there was really zero resolution on the fact he's decided to keep her and had to deal with consequences.

Synopsis (Goodreads):
His touch was angelic. I became his little devil.

I went to the Crowhurst Masquerade looking for a distraction. What I found was a man who saw right through my flirty, devil-may-care act.

A wall of muscle in a simple black suit, his face hidden behind a mask of glowing red with a stitched-on smile. He didn’t just watch me. He devoured me.

He’s infuriating, arrogant, and the most intoxicating man I’ve ever met. His voice is a gravelly command that vibrates deep in my soul, demanding my surrender.

He knows I’m all sharp edges hiding a soft core, and he’s determined to claim both. He calls me his little devil, but he’s the real sinner here.

This isn’t a flirtation. It’s a corruption. And as he exposes the vulnerable woman beneath the sass, I have to decide: deny the man who sets my blood on fire, or embrace the sinner behind the mask.
Thoughts on Masked Sinner: The next couple in the Halloween masquerade is up and there were no weird scene jumps like in the last book, so maybe it was all me. (I still don't think it was, but who knows.) Luna and Jasper are the power couple this time around and she has a bit of a devilish side. Which works since he likes the devil in her.

To back up, however, Jasper is looking for salvation. Or maybe forgiveness. Or something in between. Let's just say the beast in him craves things he doesn't think he should crave. The moment he catches sight of Luna, he knows she's his. So he sets out to make it happen.

As it turns out, Luna is down for that. Sure, Jasper is a little intense and all that, but that intensity does things to her. Soon they're locking lips and sharing names and doing all the things people do during a decadent masquerade on Halloween.

Synopsis (Goodreads):
He pulled me into the dark. Now I can't see the light.

In Ravenshade, the Halloween festival is more than a tradition—it’s a hunting ground for The Veil, the secret society of powerful, ruthless men who rule this town from the shadows.

I knew the rules. Don’t make eye contact. Don’t attract their attention. I broke them the moment I saw him.

A mountain of a man in a tailored black suit, his face hidden behind a grotesque, glowing mask with a stitched-on smile. He watched me with an intensity that felt like a brand.

He sees the darkness I hide beneath my good-girl façade, and he’s determined to own it. To own me.

This is more than a game. It’s a possession. And as he peels away my innocence layer by layer, I have to make a choice: run from the monster in the mask, or surrender to the stranger behind it.
Thoughts on Masked Stranger: I'm torn on how I feel about this book because there seemed to be a scene jump/disconnect that really threw me. To be fair, I just finished a deadline for work and I'm kind of functioning on about 3 brain cells so maybe I missed something, but I also don't think I did. So, take this as you will.

I do like the idea of a masked party where the mysterious elite pick their special someones and give them everything they need in a very physical sense. At one point, however, Ronan pulled Maya into an unused room that somehow morphed into a alley? As an aside, I just went back and reread that section and I still feel like they went from a room in the house to an alley without actually moving. It took me out of the moment, unfortunately.

On the plus side, I liked Ronan's intensity and how gentle he was with Maya afterward. I've already read book 2, so I guess the scene jump didn't bother me as much as it could have. It was just jarring and it made me wonder if I had missed something while reading.

Synopsis (Goodreads):
Riley
Ghost hunting rule #1: Don't screw the haunts. But here I am, lost in Whistling Pines with dead batteries, a useless compass, and a shadow man who can literally pass through my clothes. My podcast needs this episode, even if I have to camp in this creepy forest for a week. The locals warned me about the entity that stalks trespassers, but failed to mention he's got magical hands that can touch me in places—and ways—that should be physically impossible. Now we're being hunted by very human killers, and my sexy shadow is the only thing keeping me alive. If we survive, this will either be my most downloaded episode ever or the world's kinkiest ghost story. Maybe both.

Ash
Forty years scaring away humans, and this mouthy podcaster just keeps taunting me to "bring it on." She thinks I'm a hoax. I'll show her how real I can be. I didn't expect her defiance to strengthen my manifestations or her touch to awaken sensations I thought died with my body. Now I can solidify enough to pin her against trees, trail shadow-fingers across her skin, and make her moan my name into those microphones she loves so much. I need her alive to expose my killers. She needs my protection from the men hunting her. What neither of us planned on was how addictive it would be when a creature made of shadows learns exactly how to make a skeptic believe.
Thoughts on Spooked in the Woods: With her career on the line (and an ex who has profited off her ideas and it sounds like she very much wants to throat punch him), Riley is going all out on her podcast about the entity haunting Whistling Pines. She's determined and really has nothing to lose at this point so she's in it to win it. She's also extremely open minded and willing to do whatever needs to be done to make this the podcast to end all podcasts.

There are both pros and cons to this mindset. On the plus side, Riley isn't terrified when she meets the forest shadow daddy in the flesh. So to speak. She's done her research and is pretty sure she knows who the entity is. So being confronted by him doesn't scare her. This works in her favor in a big way because Ash is able to draw energy from her belief in him. On the downside, Ash isn't nearly the scariest thing in the woods. It's the very real human men who are planning on destroying the last bit of evidence on a decades old crime that pose the biggest threat.

But Riley is determined. Not just for her career, but also to bring to light what happened to Ash and to bring some justice to the crime committed against him. And if she and Ash happen to generate enough energy to get a little physical along the way, SO IT GOES.

A fun ghostly romance that worked for me. GOOD TIMES!

Synopsis (Goodreads):
I did not, at any point, believe this spell would produce a demon.

I was halfway through summoning a mild-mannered demon when I'm interrupted by a demon roughly ten times its size—with nothing “mild” about him. Apparently there’s a coven across town with no self-control and a truly appalling wish list, and he is desperate to avoid being dragged back into their ritual.

According to him, the only way he can get a moment’s peace tonight is if I bind him to my soul with a bargain. Which would be fine—except I cannot, for the life of me, think of a single thing I want.

Unfortunately, he takes one look at me—a woman too horny to function—and informs me he already knows exactly what I’m trying not to ask for.
Thoughts on The Demon's Prey Thing: The final D&D girlie is about to meet her match and Roxanne NEVER expected it would be a demon who did it for her. To be fair, the demon didn't expect to fall so hard for a human, so they're both dealing with this surprise.

So. Roxanne is lonely, knows texting her ex will only end in a mediocre night, and has a spell book that's supposed to be for her D&D DM gig. With a long night in front of her, she decides to summon a demon. A non-threatening demon. The "so you want to start summoning demons and need something easy" type of demon. She does NOT get an easy, non-threatening demon. I mean, Astothar isn't threatening-threatening. He's just big and a little intimidating. He also REALLY doesn't want to be summoned by the irritating coven that keeps dialing his number.

So Roxanne does what she needs to do, binds her demon to her (at his urging) and ends up with a demon very dedicated to giving her what she needs. Which is him. She needs him. Soon the two are tangling the sheets in the best way and Roxanne is figuring out that her demon is exactly what she'd ask for if she can ever catch her breath long enough to find the words.

I've enjoyed this series. It's quick and nicely naughty and YESSSS!

Synopsis (Goodreads):
"i'm either going insane or i just discovered a new cryptid... and he gives the BEST head"

That was the title of the first post written about our city's newest urban legend, a giant himbo running the streets at night and giving people orgasms like he was engineered by the state tourism board. I, for one, cannot sit in this bar for a second longer without finding out just how good this monster really is.
Thoughts on The Monster's Prey Thing: Sabine is the next D&D girlie to find her special someone and he's a monster who REALLY enjoys giving. He's also eight feet tall (maybe taller?) and doesn't speak. But he's a giver. Such a giver.

So. Sabine is kind of obsessed with the monster dubbed Mouthman who, ahem, gives women screaming Os in dark alleys. She's takes long meandering walks home to see if she can catch his attention. And when she does? SHE'S ALL IN. To the point where she tries to hunt down his nest to get a little more of the Mouthman action.

I liked this monster (he was super un-monstrous in his actions, just kind of otherworldly in appearance). He was all about Sabine at first and once she showed him what he could get out of their encounters he was SUPER into that while also being careful and observant as to what worked for her. The careful part came from him being huge and proportionate. There's no point in breaking your favorite person the first time you do the deed, after all. *thumbs up*

Synopsis (Goodreads):
My vampire best friend promised to turn me at thirty, then vanished for a decade and left me human, horny, and heartbroken. Now I spend my birthdays roleplaying the pornographic version of our friendship with strangers—and the masked man I brought home tonight is very good at pretending to be the vampire I never got over.

It’s a tale as old as time: your self-exiled, over-protective vampire best friend disappears for a decade, then comes back as an unapologetically predatory lover with the moral compass of a starving cat. Next thing you know, you’re tied to your own bedposts being sexually and emotionally edged. Birthdays, am I right?

Here’s a tip: when your vampire tells you he wants to wait twenty years to turn you because he “likes MILFs,” do not—under any circumstances—trust him with your eternity.
Thoughts on The Vampire's Prey Thing: Ina is the next of the group to have her world rocked and she's kind of a wee bit haunted by the ten year absence of her best friend. Who happens to be a vampire. No matter how hard she tries to forget him, Samson is in her thoughts.

So when she sees a dark figure on her walk home, she invites him to follow her and play. While part of her imagines it's really Samson, she doesn't actually expect it to BE Samson. Except...it is. Now he's toying with her and explaining in a very roundabout way what he's been up to for the last ten years. Which is basically watching Ina from afar.

However, it is her birthday and he did promise that he'd do the deed on her thirtieth. So, you know, they do the deed. And then mayyyyybe he'll think about turning her.

Synopsis (Goodreads):
My crush works at a game store, but looks like he was developed by a team of horny scientists. I collect werewolf minis and it shows. This is a look-don't-touch relationship.

Ram was supposed to be a fantasy—the kind of guy you daydream about, not the one who shows up to save you. But when the full moon rises, the gentle giant I flirt with becomes unrecognizable… and the werewolf who’s been secretly protecting me starts hunting me instead.

There are desiccated frat boys in the streets, a gargoyle just stole my best friend, and the wolf who carried me into the woods says I’m safer with him than anywhere else so long as I don’t run.

Rules for surviving the night:
 1. Don’t run.
 2. Seriously, don’t run.
 3. If you do run, expect to be caught.
Reader, I ran.

This Halloween, I didn’t just meet a wolf—I triggered his mating frenzy. If I survive the night, I’ll wake up claimed—heart, body, and soul—by the predator who used to be my protector.
Thoughts on The Werewolf's Prey Thing: Tabitha is the next D&D girlie to find her special someone and he's a werewolf with a strong protective instinct. Fortunately for everyone, Tabitha REALLY likes werewolves (the same way Agnes REALLY liked gargoyles) and she's not at all put off when Ram appears, saves her from some bad guys, and then goes furry.

Well, maybe the going furry pat was a bit of a shock, but she really didn't mind it.

Anywho. While Ram is trying to be all noble and keep his distance, Tabitha's hardcore crush is in full force. And maybe getting deeper than a crush. Which is a good thing since Ram already knows she's his special someone. So when he tells her not to run or he'll have to chase her, what does our girl do? Yup. She runs. And gets caught. And THOROUGHLY enjoys every minute of it.

Werewolves and gargoyles! Let's see who's up next in this series!
