- Have you guys seen Oberon's HILARIOUS "Sirius speaks" tweets? Well, NO WORRIES because Kevin Hearne has storified them for you... Siruis Speaks, Volume 1 & Siruis Speaks, Volume 2.
- Stacey Jay wrote a painfully honest post about why she's gone radio silent recently. I have met Stacey in person (beyond just a book signing) and I love her to pieces and I can TOTALLY relate to letting things get to you far beyond where you should. Read her post. Stacey is a beautiful person, inside and out, and I think it's incredibly brave of her to admit that she was brought low by one woman's words and what she had to do to pull herself out of that funk.
- Amanda wants to show YOU how to Be a Twitter Power User. Go forth and become POWERFUL!
- One time, Amanda said she was going to get a tattoo of my face on her arm. Which is hilariously awesome. The thing is... PEOPLE REALLY DO THIS! (not MY face, mind you)
*huggles your face* I'm sad how true "frozen tundra" is, too. MAHGAWD, ALL THE SNOW. (It snowed a bit last night too, FYI.) I am happy to see that you're getting back to normal on reading, though. Mostly because I still expect you to read 103 books this month.
ReplyDeleteI love LOVE the Stacey Jay post. What she said about our willingness to believe the worst of ourselves and that no amount of success will ever fix it because it comes from inside is SPOT ON.
Dude. DUDE. I've only read like 22 books at this point. I'm pretty sure that I WILL NOT be hitting that magical number that you're determined to have me hit.
Delete(although my competitive side will undoubtedly make me TRY)
Stacey Jay is a fantastic person. Added bonus, I like her books. But, yes, she really hit the nail on the head with what she said.
My cousin tattooed the name of a boyfriend on her chest, for crying out loud. I think that is a bad omen to begin with, and stupid all around. lol. However, Amanda could have you with her always! How cool would that be? :P
ReplyDeleteOne of my sisters has SEVERAL exes names tattooed on her. I am not a fan of that overall. But to have someone's FACE. HOLY CRAP. That's almost asking for a painful breakup where you don't want to even think about the person, much less see them on your ARM!
DeleteLol! Having me there *would* be awesome. She could talk to me and... no, wait. That sounds kind of creepy.
