- Kevin Hearne rocks! Not just because he gave us the dynamic duo of Atticus and Oberon but also because he dispenses AWESOME writing advice.
- If you can't see the comments on this FB post, you are missing out. This comment thread is a prime example of why I love Jodi Redford so damn much. Besides the dirty books she writes.
- In movie-land, it looks like the Graceling series by Kristin Cashore is in development. I should really read those books. You know, since I own them.
- I have NO WORDS for how sucked in I got when I opened this site - JARRITOS! NO WORDS. Wait. I have two words... FUERTE VISION!
- Amanda sent me the link to this article about how purpose won't find you until you get started. I liked it. I liked it a lot. It's geared toward businesses/business people but I think it's applicable to EVERYONE because sometimes you have to cast aside your inhibitions and DO WHAT YOU WANT TO DO!
- And in the OMG!WTF?BBQ! category: 5 Insane True Stories That Prove Humans Can Survive Anything (from Cracked). *blinks* I love Cracked. I just... love them for putting this sort of stuff in my head.
- Amanda and Gaby (Queen Ella Bee Reads) are teaming up for a series of posts on (re)discovering the basics of blogging. Gaby has some good things to say here.
- April (Books & Wine) has an AWESOME post about how much she loves read-a-thons! This is SO TIMELY since Bout of Books is RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER!
I'm glad you linked up the Alexis Grant article. She is awesome and I love what she has to say.
ReplyDeleteKevin Hearne is going to town with the storify, isn't he? I LIKE IT. He makes a good point, too. Stop comparing. It goes for blogging and books reads and reading speed too.
Yeah, he is! I love the last tweet on the writing advice one. LOL! NO PRESSURE!
