Synopsis (Goodreads):
A jaguar shifter with a dark secret, Kyter has spent his entire life running from his demons. When a tragedy takes him back to his pride’s village, he is set on a path of vengeance that will see him collide with the terrible ghosts of his past and a beautiful vision of his future.

Iolanthe deals in finding artifacts for discerning clients, but this time her client is one of the deadliest men in Hell and her mission has the highest stakes imaginable. Failure is not an option when your life is on the line, but things take a dangerous turn when she crosses paths with a handsome and mysterious male on the hunt for the same artifact—a male who declares she is his eternal mate.

Can Iolanthe resist Kyter’s wicked allure and find the artifact before he does? Can Kyter face his demons and win the heart of his fated female? Or will this deadly game of cat and mouse claim both of their lives?
Thoughts on Hunted by a Jaguar: Oh, I love when we get to see previously hidden connections to characters who have popped up in earlier books. *hugs all the characters tight and hopes they all find their HEA at some point* (I'm pretty firmly anti-spoiler, so if you want to know who those hidden connections refer to READ THE BOOK.)

(But I will say it made me a little giddy on the inside. Because... DAMMIT. I don't want to spoil it. Just... GO. READ. YOU'LL SEE.)

(It's possible I have a character from a previous book I had no idea I liked as much as I did. Huh. Didn't see that coming.)

What were we talking about again? OH, right. Characters. You know, like Kyter and Iolanthe. (For the record, I totally can't spell her name right the first time. EVER. That might make referring to her somewhat problematic during this review. *scowls at my tricksy fingers*)

And again... Kyter and Iolanthe (only two tries to get it right that time. Yay!). He has a few issues to work through. She has... well, a price on her head. Sort of. Let's just say she has a very powerful reason for wanting to find the artifact she's been sent to find. But then, so does he.

Put two people who are highly attracted to one another is close proximity and watch the sparks fly. No lie, shifter MINE mentality never fails to make me grin. Especially when growling mine at their intended mate puts said mate's hackles up.

What I'm trying to say is that shifters still delight me and this book (in fact the entire series) has enough steam to warm the coldest of hearts.
