Synopsis (Goodreads):
For Nolwenn witch Talaith, a bad day begins with being dragged from bed by an angry mob intent on her crispy end and culminates in rescue by--wait for it--a silver-maned dragon. Existence as a hated outcast is nothing new for a woman with such powerful secrets. The dragon, though? A tad unusual. This one has a human form to die for, and knows it. According to dragon law, Talaith is now his property, for pleasure. . .or otherwise. But if Lord Arrogance thinks she's the kind of damsel to acquiesce without a word, he's in for a surprise...

Is the woman never silent? Briec the Mighty knew the moment he laid eyes on Talaith that she would be his, but he'd counted on tongue-lashings of an altogether different sort. It's embarrassing, really, that it isn't this outspoken female's magicks that have the realm's greatest dragon in her thrall. No, Briec has been spellbound by something altogether different--and if he doesn't tread carefully, what he doesn't know about human women could well be the undoing of his entire race...
Thoughts on About a Dragon: Another dragon royal is about to fall and Talaith isn't about to make it easy for him. Mostly because she has a big secret she'll do anything to protect and she doesn't think her arrogant dragon will understand why she has to do what she's been sent to do.

Meanwhile, Briec is convinced he's only keeping Talaith around because dragon law says she's now his. It's definitely not because he enjoys arguing with her. Or taunting her. Or watching her when she's not looking. And there's no possible way he could be falling for her, right?

While Briec is busy convincing himself about his reasoning for keeping Talaith, she's girding her loins (so to speak) to do something she really doesn't want to do. But which she has to. Because of that secret. That loud, loud secret.

An attempted witch burning, an arrogant dragon, a conflicted (but not conflicted enough to walk away from her task because of her SECRET!) witch with a whole lot of rage, a bevy of nearly feral dragon siblings (aren't they a HOOT?!?!), and a god or two. Because why not, amirite? (Seriously, though, those gods make things not so fun for those around them at times.)
