Synopsis (Goodreads):
Some things never go away, like vile enemies, bad ale, and annoying kin. But I thought I was finished with the one dragon I'd have done anything for: Éibhear the Blue, a big, gorgeous, blue-haired beast who thinks the world belongs to him. The world and, apparently, me.

So if Éibhear wants to play the caring hero and travel into the most forsaken of Gods forsaken lands to protect the one woman who doesn't need it--namely me--I'll let him. Because while I'm trying to fulfill a ridiculous quest for a pushy god, I'm going to draw this overconfident warlord much too close, rekindle his fires, and enjoy every minute of his delicious defeat...
Thoughts on How to Drive a Dragon Crazy: Okay, so DISCLAIMER (which I might have disclaimered on other books in this series already, but just go with it!): I jumped into this series at book 5 originally and I DID NOT LOVE the Izzy/Éibhear dynamic in that book because I knew nothing of what had come before. I have now read all the previous books and...I get it. BUT...that early glimpse of them and the mess they made of THEM/NOT THEM had me almost dreading this book.

Almost.

*ahem* Right. So. We finally get Izzy and Éibhear working out their issues. Given how young they both were (relatively speaking) when they met, it makes sense that they had to grow up a little (read: A LOT) before they could make a go of things. Izzy has grown into her strength and is a respected general in Annwyl's army. Éibhear meanwhile has carved out a place for himself with the Mi-runach. Which just goes to show that the Cadwaladr blood runs strong. Even amongst the royals. And Éibhear as a Berserker? OH YEAH, it works.

That dragon and his crew are a little hot headed and not great at following orders. Except when they are. And when Iz heads off into the desertlands, Éibhear is right beside her. Never mind that she doesn't need (or want) his protection. He's doing it.

Dragon gods, warrior gods, a gross cult dedicated to another (gross) god, sand dragons, plenty of blood and guts, family reunions, and two individuals who EVERYONE knew were meant for one another finally getting their act together. Dragons, man. They're wild!
