Synopsis (Goodreads):
Gabe wants Alec between the sheets…too bad Alec’s undercover already…

Rich kid. Party boy. Gabe is tired of the labels. He’s a smart guy, but ever since he got kicked out of grad school, people are only interested in his no-limit credit card and his pierced ears…and other places.

Tall, dark and scowling Alec hates Vermont, with its artisanal-freaking-everything and its irritating people. To be fair, most people irritate Alec, including the FBI director who sent him here to investigate a smuggling scheme involving yoga mats.

When one of the cutest twinks Alec’s ever seen takes an interest, Alec knows there’s an ulterior motive. No one with multi-colored hair, piercings, and an ass like that would want boring, serious Alec. The kid must be up to no good. Either way, Alec can’t blow his cover. If only he could keep his hands off of Gabe long enough to find out what he’s up to…

Can they ignore their explosive chemistry long enough to foil a smuggling ring? Or will their budding relationship sink faster than a yacht full of contraband?
Thoughts on Undercover: Another V&V relationship and...Gabe and Alec have some things they need to work out. Not necessarily only relationshippy things, either. I mean, yeah, they definitely have some of those, but they also have their own personal baggage they need to work on.

First up: Gabe. He's the rich boy who falls back on shallow flirting because it's what people expect. Getting kicked out of grad school did a number on his sense of self and he's just sort of been floating along since. He definitely likes the look of the guy browsing the true crime section at V&V and he goes about showing it in the only way he knows how.

On Alec's end, he's...well, he's not thrilled with his current assignment. He's not enamored of Vermont in general and he's suspicious of the hot guy checking him out in the bookstore. And, yeah, he also has that whole undercover thing going on. Which makes things a little complicated because hooking up with someone who might be involved in his case seems all sorts of wrong. Especially when he starts catching feelings for Gabe.

Lies (even if they're for good reasons) hurt and Gabe and Alec have some figuring out to do when things come to light.

I'm still digging my time spent at V&V. Here's to more romance among the books!
