Synopsis (Goodreads):
Life on a farm planet at the edge of the universe can be dangerous for a human woman alone.

That’s why I need a husband. ANY husband.

Unfortunately, all the men I approach keep running off. So I hire a bounty hunter to kidnap me someone capable and strong, someone who will scare off the creeps that are trying to move in on my territory.

It’ll be a marriage of convenience only.

I should have been a little more specific about who I wanted, though…because the intimidating and fierce praxiian male that the bounty hunter brings to me? The one with feline features, big arms and an even bigger…uh, farm?

He’s the problem I was hoping a new husband would scare off. What am I supposed to do now?

(Don’t ask him, because all of his suggestions are completely and utterly filthy and have nothing to do with a marriage of convenience.)
Thoughts on When She Purrs: Oh.My.Goodness. I really REALLY loved this story. Kim and Nassakth were just ridiculously cute and sweet and ALL THE GOOD THINGS. Which is a funny thing to say since Nassakth is a former gladiator who made his name by the brutality of his kills in the arena. But he's a squishy cinnamon roll under all those muscles and I LOVED HIM WITH KIM.

As for Kim, humans are treated pretty abysmally by most and she's had a run of bad luck since her abduction. Having her Praxian neighbor leaves kills on her doorstep and, uhh, do other unsightly things that aren't usually discussed in polite company puts her on edge. Thinking the worst, she puts the word out that she wants a husband. Willing or not.

As it turns out, Nassakth is doing his people's version of courting. Once they get all that cleared up, they have to deal with Kim's trust issues. And Nassakth's overwhelming need to keep her safe no matter if it means doing questionable things in the process. Like lying. To her. WHOOPS. Bad idea, kitty. Bad idea.

As always, I love, love, love the crazy world and sweet characters. Being that Kim and Nassakth are from two very different cultures, things aren't easy on them at times. There are plenty of bumps in the road they have to navigate, but they do it with steam and heart.

And THAT'S what I'm here for.
